Kapus (Balija Naidus /Telagas/ Munnuru Kapus/Turpu Kapus/Ontaris) are a caste in South India. They constitute more than 28% of the population of Andhra Pradesh making it the largest community of the state.^{[citation needed]} The following are the prominent personalities of the caste in various fields:
