Personally, I think it is a pretty good picture overall, and I'm pretty sure it is the best one we have. Images on Wikipedia are restricted in that they must be as freely usable as possible. For pictures of people, this usually means they must be released into the public domain. It's been added; the last sentence of "Personal life" states "On March 12, 2010, Lovato confirmed that she had begun dating Joe Jonas, whom she first met while filming Camp Rock in 2007.". No. assocaited acts can include one-time acts and co-preformers. but... david and demi are close friends; the same with the lead singer from We The Kings(who should also be in the associated acts) if you note in other wikipedia articles there are people noted in the associated acts that are not close personal friends with the band/singer. As The Bell Rings

Demi was only in the first season of as the bell rings. she never came back. Joe+Demi=Back Together?

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato dated all through this year until May, when Joe split with Lovato because he thought they were better as 'friends'. Demi publicly announced this on Twitter, mentioning that Joe just wanted to be friends and they intended to stay close, although it was clear that she was upset. I must say that Joe perhaps felt awkward being in a relationship with his best friend, especially as he is nearly 21 and she is just 17. Some neurotic fans did comment about the slight age difference on online message boards, although why would it matter when most couples vary in age? Both have been single since then, except for the odd kiss and cuddle, here and there. It is clear that none has been in a serious relationship since the break-up. I believe that Demi is waiting for Mr.Jonas to come and sweep her off her feet..second time lucky.

Of course, this isn't the first time, Joe has dumped a famous girlfriend. Just last year, Joe split with worldwide-star Taylor Swift, by TEXT! Taylor was so shocked and upset that she even wrote a song about it(Forever and Always), and to make him feel even more guilty, Swift asked Jonas to sing back-up in her song. So Joe and Taylor sung a song about how their relationship deteriorated and how Taylor wanted him so bad, and then how he dumped her so cruell. Ha ha Joe.

Although, Joe made it clear in May that he didn't think of Demi as a girlfriend, she could get lucky because Mitchie and Shane get EXTREMELY close in Camp Rock 2, which is currently being flmed. So will sparks fly when their on-screen relationship is rekindled. Some jackass posted an inappropriate sentence in this article (you'll notice it very quickly if you read the article. If you haven't noticed it, it's been fixed). Unfortunately, the article is semi protected, and as such, I can't (or can't figure out how to) revert to a previous version. STBY, Wikipedia, maybe liberalizing your reversion rules a bit is in order. Just a thought. It's probably not a good idea to "publicly" call vandals jackasses (saying it in your head is fine though). There's an article in today's Toronto Star (here) that's clearly an interview with Demi. It states: "She was born Demetria Devonne Lovato in New Mexico on Aug. 20, 1992, but moved to Dallas when her parents divorced shortly after her second birthday." The thing is, you need to include sources that specifically say whatever it is you're including in the article. The article you cited doesn't mention Miley Cyrus at all, as far as I can see, and it doesn't say that Demi talked about collaborating with Trey Songz - it speculates, in a joking way, that she might perhaps collaborate with him. Nope - not usable. It states in the image description that it's from Getty Images ("Photo by Bryan Bedder/Getty Images") and thus it's copyrighted. the page says her father is Mexican and her mother is Italian and Irish? But I checked the references and they don't state which of her parents is what! So I don't know how you guys know for certain? I mean being that her father's name is Patrick Lovato, Lovato is an Italian name. They do have it wrong. Her mother is Mexican and her father is Irish Italian. I have read this in several places. None of which are coming to mind at the moment.

Placement of "Treatment center stint" section

When I originally added information about Lovato's time in a treatment center to this article on Nov. 1, I incorporated it into the 'Music career', 2010-present section since she left the tour early in order to enter treatment. But now that it has been made its own subsection, it looks odd sitting in the 'Music career' section. My suggestion for this would be to: A) move the 'Treatment Center Stint' subsection to 'Image and personal life'; and B) change what is currently in the music section to:

"...The tour began on August 7, 2010 in Tinley Park, IL and was set to end on November 13, 2010 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. However, Lovato's early departure from the tour was announced on November 1, 2010, in order to allow Lovato to enter a treatment center for "physical and emotional issues" (see Image and personal life)."

Associated acts

According to Template:Infobox_musical_artist#Associated_acts "This field is for professional relationships with other musicians or bands that are significant and notable to this artist's career." The current list has Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, We the Kings. The only musical act that seems to meet the requirement is Jonas Brothers. There is no reference anywhere to significant and notable musical associations with the others. You have to take into account the fact that, though it's using the Musical Artist infobox, Gomez is famous as both an actress and a singer, thus the exact definitions of each section may need to be bent since we don't have an Template:Infobox actor/singer. Even is this field is stretched to have meaning for actors (and I don't think it should be), Selena Gomez has had no more of a significant association than the other cast members of any of the acting roles listed in Demi_Lovato#Filmography. The field originally listed just Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez was a fairly late addition [1]. People populate this field with personal associations (friends) in a lot of articles and miss the part about the significant and notable professional requirement. My judgment is Selena Gomez falls in this category of close personal friend who has worked with Lovato on one TV series and one movie and that is it and is only listed here because of that friendship.
