Concerns

I'm concerned over the notability of this comic. While I'm not a huge fan of WP:COI, if this comic was notable it really shouldn't have required the author to create the article. The one news article was written by a student from the same university and mentions the work only in passing. The "awards" appear entirely non-notable. The links from generic terms (Fantasy comic, Robot comics, Animal comics, Singapore cartoon, Singapore anime, Singapore manga, Singapore comic) ‎are also highly inappropriate. Some amendments made based on "GreenReaper"'s comments. The 2 articles referenced are NOT written by students from the university of the author. The university's website is the only place where these articles can still be seen from the web, thus the reference.
Please give me a few days to gather more 'external' and 'verifiable' sources. I'm sure they exist.

Sure; and my apologies for the university mixup - I misread the TLA. I'm not a great fan of Wikipedia's policies on notability either, but they are what they are, and I know comic articles get reviewed for them on a regular basis. The fewer reasons that can be given for throwing out an article, the better. GreenReaper (talk) 07:56, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much for the heads-up, i'll patch things up based on your assessment. Jkktay (talk) 09:21, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
New referenced added. Most of them from off-line sources, i must add. 203.120.16.145 (talk) 02:14, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move
