Turner Valley is a small Alberta town southwest of Calgary.
Population: 1,786 (2005)
The town was once the centre of an oil and natural gas boom, but is presently undergoing a mini-recession. Turner Valley is just 3 km from its sister town, Black Diamond to the east and about 13 km from a relatively undeveloped portion of Kananaskis Country.
Notable native
- Laureen Harper, wife of the current Prime Minister, was born here.
