Stanley Howse, better known as Flesh-n-Bone, (born June 10, 1973)[1] is an American rapper from Cleveland, Ohio and is known as a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He is the older brother of Layzie Bone and cousin of Wish Bone.
Career
He were the first member of the group to release a solo album entitled T.H.U.G.S. (Trues Humbly United Gatherin' Souls) in 1996. In 1999, he released an underground album called From Cleveland 2 Cali to display the artists signed to his label Flesh Bone Incorporated. In 2000 he released From Cleveland 2 Cali: Day 2. On October 10, 2000 he released his second solo album, 5th Dog Let Loose, on Koch Records. Flesh-N-Bone released his first solo single in 10 years since his incarceration in 2000 with "Heartaches", released on iTunes November 30, 2010. His third solo album "Blaze Of Glory" is expected be released in the first quarter of 2011.
Legal Troubles
On September 22, 2000, Howse was sent to Pleasant Valley State Prison for 12 years on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and probation violation.[2] He was released July 2008 where he reunited with fellow Bone members Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, and Wish. They immediately went to the studio and started recording for their reunion album "Uni5: The World's Enemy", which was released May 4, 2010.
Flesh-N-Bone got picked up on gun possession charges on Thursday (April 2) 2009 in Santa Clarita, CA according to TMZ. He was held without bail.[3] However the gun possession charges against him were dropped on April 20, 2009 in a Santa Clarita courthouse. "The defense turned over some information, and we investigated and realized we were unable to proceed with the charges as filed, so the judge dismissed the case," said Jane Robinson, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles district attorneys office. On March 28, 2010, Flesh-N-Bone was picked up on a felony warrant in Cleveland, Ohio during a show on Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's reunion tour. He was released from custody 5 days later & charges were dismissed.[4]
Personal life
Flesh has converted from Christianity To Islam whilst in prison.[5]
