Project Cafe (Colloquially called Wii 2, Wii HD, or Super Wii) is rumoured to be the codename for Nintendo's upcoming eighth generation video game console and will be the successor to the Wii.[1] Claims have been made that the new machine is significantly more powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[2] Claims have also been made about a new controller, which will apparently feature dual analog sticks, a standard d-pad and trigger buttons. The functionality of the new controller has been compared to a Nintendo GameCube controller. It has been claimed that the new controller for the console features a 6" HD touchscreen, and the controller will allow players to stream entire games to the controller from the console.[1]
