I have an email of confirmation of my copyright from Ethan Russell, the photographer as did the first person that put this up.. this has been going on for 2 years..I was going to include it in this email but am concerned that is public. What do we have to do for people to stop taking down copyright approved material? I can forward the email from Ethan Russell.

Gutierrez' biography

Hello, I am sorry if I have caused any problems. I thought we all wanted to have the best page possible reflecting the person's woek and accomplishments. I am new to WIKI and thought one could add and reword to make the biography flow and read better. I read similar biographical articles on WIKI that used similar phrasing with documentation. You may check the documentation, or, if you need additional documentation, pleasse let me know. Perhaps we can work on a biographical version that reflects Mr. Gutierrez' legacy. The current version is not reflective of his life and accomplishments. I tried to narrate as best as I could, documenting my statements. There are quotes for his back problems, but my verifiable quotes and information regarding his accomplishments is being rejected. I do not understand fully, but would like to learn to do it correctly. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maryphillips1952 (talkcontribs) 23:51, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to sign my last message. I would like to work with you to have the best biography possible. I apologize again for my ignorance.Maryphillips1952 (talk) 23:53, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I did not intend to offend anyone with Gutierrez' biography edits. I am new to Wiki. I am willing to work as a team to make the biography the best it can be. I mirrowed many biographies written on WIKI and documented the statements to be more objective. Perhaps we can rewrite some of the edits I made as a team and work towards a common goal. My goal was to document his life, work, and accomplishments. The current website does not reflect his work, his discography, and many of the documented awards he received. I would like to know how to best proceed as part of a team to make the biography the best it can be. Thank you for your help. It is appreciated. --Maryphillips1952 (talk) 01:38, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Sorry, about any inconvenience I may have caused. My intentions was to have the best biography possible for mr. Gutierrez' work and legacy. I have incorporated suggestions and made on the Talk page. I also added recent changes for the team. Please feel free to contact me at maryphillips52@yahoo.com. I will be glad to work with everyone. I sincerely want Mr. Gutierrez' biography to reflect his artistry. Thank you for your help. --Maryphillips1952 (talk) 17:27, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's best to keep all communications "on-wiki". As you have engaged with other users on the talk page, any issues will be resolved there. I will add however that the Wikipedia article does not exist to "reflect his artistry", it is supposed to be an objective (as far as possible) description based on what has already been said about him in reliable sources. – ukexpat (talk) 18:58, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help

Hello: I am sorry to have caused such problems. I sincerely want to be a contributor to Mr. Gutierrez' wiki. In my mind anyone or anything written about on wiki leaves a legacy for mankind. This was my intention. Again, I apologize if I have offended editors with inappropriate word usage. I welcome any mentoring. I have signed up as suggested. --Maryphillips1952 (talk) 17:46, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I aplologize for any problems or incovenience I may have caused. I am new to wiki and welcome your help and suggestions. I am unfamiliar with the proper terminology. My intention for using the word artistry was to document his life, work, and achievements. My intention for using the word legacy is that I feel anything written on wikipedia today leaves a legacy for mankind. I understand the responsibility you have and respect the sincere editing work you do. Please accept my sincere apologies. I will work hard to meet all your standards. Maryphillips1952 (talk) 18:12, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK you can stop apologizing. Just work with other editors on the article's talk page and all will be well.

Thanks for your input at BLPN. I would like to remove the redirect and create a new article as you suggested. The official name of the company is [Paulson & Co. Inc.] Do you think I should create a new article and then change the [Paulson & Co.] to redirect to the new article [Paulson & Co. Inc.] or just use the existing article title: [Paulson & Co.]? Any suggestions? Cheers! --KeithbobTalk 16:08, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For Wikipedia purposes the title of the article about the company would be Paulson & Co. (we don't use "Inc" etc unless needed for disambiguation purposes, see WP:NCCORP). So, as I mentioned at the Help Desk, you wold edit that page to remove the redirect code and add your text. I would advise that before you do that, you create the article as a draft in your userspace first, at User:Keithbob/Paulson & Co. for example, so that you can work on it at your own pace and then have it reviewed by other users before you copy and paste it into Paulson & Co.. If you use the article wizard, it has the option to create a draft in user space. Also, before you start, take a look at WP:BIO, WP:BFAQ and WP:RS. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to ask. – ukexpat (talk) 16:28, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks UK, for the info about [Inc} in the title. I think I'm good to go now. --KeithbobTalk 16:31, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Talk Page

Hello,

My talk page with the link to Horacio Gutierrez' website has been deleted. There was quite a bit of discussion and notes on the page. I placed information on Mr. Gutierrez' website per discussions and suggestions of editors on the Talk Page. I fear all my entries will be deleted again if the Talk page is gone. I need your help. I do not want to do anything wrong and want to contribute. I don't know what to do. Can you please help me?--98.178.187.55 (talk) 15:20, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you Ukexpat with your help on Mr. Gutierrez' biography. I really appreciate it. I liked your headings, especially the Television. I was able to easily insert his performaces. Best, Mary --Maryphillips1952 (talk) 20:50, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GOCE drive invitation

Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors

The latest GOCE backlog elimination drive is under way! It began on 1 July and so far 18 people have signed up to help us reduce the number of articles in need of copyediting.

This drive will give a 50% bonus for articles edited from the GOCE requests page. Although we have cleared the backlog of 2009 articles there are still 3,935 articles needing copyediting and any help, no matter how small, would be appreciated.

We are appealing to all GOCE members, and any other editors who wish to participate, to come and help us reduce the number of articles needing copyediting, as well as the backlog of requests. If you have not signed up yet, why not take a look at the current signatories and help us by adding your name and copyediting a few articles. Barnstars will be given to anyone who edits more than 4,000 words, with special awards for the top 5 in the categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", and "Number of articles of over 5,000 words".

Completely new abortion proposal and mediation

In light of the seemingly endless disputes over their respective titles, a neutral mediator has crafted a proposal to rename the two major abortion articles (pro-life/anti-abortion movement, and pro-choice/abortion rights movement) to completely new names. The idea, which is located here, is currently open for opinions. As you have been a contributor in the past to at least one of the articles, your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

The hope is that, if a consensus can be reached on the article titles, the energy that has been spent debating the titles of the articles here and here can be better spent giving both articles some much needed improvement to their content. Please take some time to read the proposal and weigh in on the matter. Even if your opinion is simple indifference, that opinion would be valuable to have posted.

To avoid concerns that this notice might violate WP:CANVASS, this posting is being made to every non-anon editor who has edited either page (or either page's respective talk page) since 1 July 2010, irrespective of possible previous participation at the mediation page.
