Thank you for making the changes and improving the photo. I had cropped it from a photo which included his first wife, so the quality may not have been the best. I believe the third one with the duotone makes his eyes stand out more; other than that the greyscale is good. Conclusion: the third pic on the right is the best. Thank you!! reply, link to verifying article, re Soupy Sales
Thank you so much for your reply. I trust that my reply is personal between you and I. What I told you is truth, verified by many years of contracts between Soupy and myself and deals that I made on his behalf. His widow, Trudy Carson Sales, would only be delighted to verify what I am saying.
Also, there was an article written about me in 2005 by Celebrity Access that states that I am his manager for years. Here is the link http://www.celebrityaccess.com/news/profile.html?id=276
If I can think of other articles, I can forward that to you. There are also many contracts that I arranged for Soupy and now his Estate, but of course such documents are legally confidential and so cannot be shared.
Is there a way that I can have Soupy's widow, Trudy Carson Sales, contact you, or you get in touch with her, either by email or telephone or regular mail, as she would verify everything. As would our attorney, as would our accountant. Mrs. Sales is now running Soupy's Corporation called Soupbone Corp, and I continue to make deals on behalf of the estate, she will verify that I was his manager for most of his later years and that, while we absolutely adore Paul Dver, he was not his manager, although he told the press that after Soupy's death.
Please tell me how we can move forward with this, as what I am saying is totally true.
Thank you so very much, regards, Janet Oseroff Janeto (talk) 19:44, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Hey, I provided a two-paragraph draft stub on the Talk page if you're up for taking a look. I would prefer deleting it as NOT, V, and OR, but that seems unpopular around here and stubbing it is probably where it'll end up. CorporateM (Talk) 00:26, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Milpark Business School logo.png
A tag has been placed on File:Milpark Business School logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notability Template Removal
Hi, you added Template:Notability to the article Michael D. Colacino several months ago. The article has since been rewritten by a neutral editor and it appears to me that the subject does in fact meet criteria stated in Wikipedia:Notability (people). I'd like you to please consider removing the templates. Thank you. RyLaughlin (talk) 21:00, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

Norwest Bank
Hi Ukexpat, I'd like to ask a question. I'm a frequent user of wikiHow, and I know their policies and scripts as a New Article Booster and Admin, but I am not familiar with the scripts and policies of Wikipedia. For that reason, I'm asking for help in editing a page- correcting text. I was an account manager with Norwest Bank during the Wells Fargo takeover. The Norwest article incorrectly states that Norwest was the surviving institution under a name change. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwest) This is incorrect. The "merger" was a hostile takeover by Wells Fargo. Bank Encyclopedia shows that Norwest is inactive as a bank, not operating under a different name, and that Wells Fargo Bank Arizona, N.A. was the acquiring institution (http://www.bankencyclopedia.com/Norwest-Bank-Arizona-National-Association-25286-Phoenix-Arizona.html) and the Wells Fargo article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wells_Fargo) shows that Wells Fargo is a successor of Norwest. In other words, Wells Fargo's charter is created by the acquiring of other institutions dating back to the 1863 charter of the First National Bank of Philadelphia. There are a few comments within the Norwest article that appear either contradictory or in error. I want to correct the text, but I want to do it right. Having not edited a Wikipedia article before, I wanted to ask a seasoned editor for advice. MR2David (talk) 21:46, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

"Articles about a living Person that are entirely negative"
Sorry, but can't find any "entirely negative" comment or reference in my one and only suggested Wiki edit!
As as for my future interest in Wiki editing, I am not asking for you to explain unless I am now on probation for any future suggested edit.
I actively support Wikipedia financially both periodically and on an annual basis. Unless my current status as a member is adversely affected, I see no reason to withdraw my support at this time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.126.18.253 (talk) 09:12, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Hurley Wikipedia page
First off, you referenced that other political elected officials pages list the predecessor and successor, agreeing with ORLADY on the Hurley page. However; if you bothered to visit the Hurley page, both men are listed as such without reference to any race Hurley was not included. Hurley losing is referenced, with link, but Calfee going on to win an election Hurley was not present for, is not necessary since his name is already listed as the successor. Adding a new story without Hurley's name, or mention of Hurley or anything about Hurley, has no place or bearing on that page. If any political page about a specified politician is truly about information on that specified person, then referencing anyone else's stories seems to be irrelevant as well as a personal issue with whomever continues to post. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Loudon YR (talk • contribs) 17:11, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

GOCE December 2013 Blitz wrap-up and January Drive invitation
December Notes from the Guild of Copy Editors
The December blitz ran from December 8–14. The theme for this blitz was articles tied in some way to religion. Seven editors knocked out 20 articles over the course of the week. Our next blitz will be in February, with a theme to be determined. Feel free to make theme suggestions at the Guild talk page! The January 2014 Backlog elimination drive is a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy edit backlog. The drive begins on January 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and ends on January 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Our goals are to copy edit all articles tagged in October and November 2012 and complete all requests placed before the end of 2013. Barnstars will be awarded to anyone who copy edits at least one article, and special awards will be given to the top five in the following categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", "Number of articles of over 5,000 words", "Number of articles tagged in October and November 2012", and "Longest article". We hope to see you there! Coordinator election: Voting is open for candidates to serve as GOCE coordinators from 1 January through 30 June 2014. Voting will run until the end of December. For complete information, please have a look at the election page. – Your drive coordinators: Torchiest, Baffle gab1978, Jonesey95 and The Utahraptor To discontinue receiving GOCE newsletters, please remove your name from our mailing list.
