....though interesting, have been reverted several times from several articles. I can not find any baseball-related or historical sources to support this; see, for instance, a Google search [http://www.google.com/search?q=Paul+Sentell+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a]. The sole website making the claim is not an acceptable source, but belongs to someone claiming to be a descendant of Sentell's [http://www.frenchcreoles.com/CreoleCulture/The%20First%20Baseball%20Player%20of%20Color.html]. Until reliable sources can be provided this is original research, and can not be accepted here per [[WP:NOR]]. Claims that Sentell was the first African American in major league baseball

....though interesting, have been reverted several times from several articles. I can not find any baseball-related or historical sources to support this; see, for instance, a Google search [1]. The sole website making the claim is not an acceptable source, but belongs to someone claiming to be a descendant of Sentell's [2]. Until reliable sources can be provided this is original research, and can not be accepted here per WP:NOR. 76.248.149.98 (talk) 05:10, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
