Songwriting

I'm not a fan of this guy, but he did'nt write all of these songs or co-write, I read in the leaflet of this album that he did'nt write like 3 songs--85.210.73.15 (talk) 15:01, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My Worlds: Australian Edition

I just found this on Sanity.com.au that there will be an Australian Edition of the album released on April 23, 2010. It will feature My World and My World 2.0 on two separate discs. --Sticky&Sweet12 (talk) 02:07, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT Change Tour Page Unless You Ask First!

I just edited the whole tour section because it was just a mess..i spent 2 1/2 hours on it trying to find the right wiki page to the correct title. Things were very much mispelled. If you want to change something, state what you want to change and wait for an answer.. Do we need to semi-protect this page already?! --YourBadRomance (talk) 08:51, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I also just uploaded the official promotional photo for the My World Tour. Please do not change it unless some other photo comes up..but please put the link here so we can see if its official. Remember no fan sites or blogs aloud.--YourBadRomance (talk) 08:51, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Someone changed the photo to the My World album cover...That IS NOT the promotional photo for the My World Tour.. I put up the one shown on Ticketmaster.com DO NOT CHANGE it unless you provide a link that shows proof of another photo. Thank you! --YourBadRomance (talk) 13:10, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My Worlds Brazilian Edition

The brazilian edition of the album is gonna be released March 22, containing 18 tracks in a single disc, through Universal Music. I think to be needed an edition of the page with the information of all relevant releases. (Scaion (talk) 02:13, 21 March 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Brazil info with the "My Worlds" edition is in the release history. Candyo32 (talk) 04:40, 21 March 2010 (UTC) hey hey h ey[reply]

Missing single

Eenie Meenie was released as a single on March 23rd. Why isn't it in the "singles" part of the infobox? 76.127.217.214 (talk) 19:42, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Eenie Meenie is Sean Kingston's single, not Bieber's. Candyo32 (talk) 20:01, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But it's still a single, and it's on this album. 76.127.217.214 (talk) 01:25, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is a single from Kingston's upcoming album. It is just a regular track from this album. Candyo32 (talk) 01:53, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But, it was released as a single. And, it's on this album, and Sean Kington's. So, it's a single from both albums. 76.127.217.214 (talk) 01:08, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{ Not done No, it was released as a single from Kingston's forthcoming album only. Just because it is included on an album does not mean it is a single. The song was not released through Bieber's label, it was released through Kingston's. Bieber has not promoted the song in any way. Candyo32 01:35, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"the second youngest artist overall to achieve the number one"

Candyo32, you are misreading the Billboard source. In your last edit you wrote, "The article clearly says while Bieber is the youngest male, Cyrus is the youngest artist overall." This is not true. In the first paragraph it says "13-year-old Stevie Wonder led the Aug. 24, 1963, chart", which is why in the third paragraph it says "Bieber is the youngest male in almost 47 years" to have the number 1 album. Stevie was younger, so Justin was not the youngest male. Also, Cyrus, who was 15 when her album was number 1, was not the youngest overall. What the article does say is this: "While Bieber is the youngest male in almost 47 years to command the Billboard 200, a younger solo artist reigned as recently as Aug. 9, 2008, when Miley Cyrus, then three months shy of her sweet 16th, spent a week at No. 1". It is just pointing out that while Bieber is the youngest male since Stevie Wonder that recently a female younger than him was number 1. But it does not say that Miley was the youngest female, just that she was younger than Bieber and recent.

If you click on the slideshow on the Billboard page titled "Only 7 solo artists have topped the Billboard 200 before turning 17" you will see that the 7 are (in order by age):

1. Stevie Wonder (age 13 years, three months, one week)
2. Leanne Rimes (14 years, six months)
3. Miley Cyrus (14 years, seven months, three weeks)
4. Hilary Duff (15 years, 11 months, three weeks)
5. Justin Bieber (16 years, one month, one week)
6. Tiffany (16 years, three months, three weeks)
7. Demi Lovato (16 years, 11 months, two weeks)

So Bieber is the second youngest male solo artist and the fifth youngest solo artist to have a number 1 album. (You also have to explicitly say solo artist because, for example Joey McIntyre was only 15 when New Kids on the Block's "Hangin' Tough" was number 1). 142 and 99 (talk) 14:22, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Tyreethesinger, 17 August 2010

{{editsemiprotected}}

The song on the Walmart release "Where Are You Now" was originally produced by Mama Jan Smith (Justin Bieber's vocal coach), Demond Mickens and then co-produced and arranged by Bryan Michael Cox. It's in the credits on the CD but the only producer mentioned here is Brian Michael Cox. What happened to Mama Jan Smith and Demond Mickens???

HERE GOES THE PROOF: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs474.ash1/25995_380458241660_817691660_3639742_4807423_n.jpg

2nd opinion requested
I don't think that qualifies as a reliable source, but I'm not delisting this request yet, to get more opinions. Salvio Let's talk 'bout it! 13:18, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I wouldnt consider it a reliable source. I think the best bet is probably to wait for some regular editors to this article to decide if any change is needed or not. Most responding to the Edit request will not know. BritishWatcher (talk) 16:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done It happens to be a reliable source (the album's liner notes), and the reason it wasn't added was because I do not have a copy of the Wal-Mart edition of the album, which the track was available via. Candyo32 16:40, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"will impact radio"

What is this weird jargon? A single doesn't "impact radio". It is "released". 86.131.88.193 (talk) 23:28, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"will impact radio" simply means its yet to be released to radio. Its the same thing as saying "It will be released to radio". - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 23:30, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The reason the term "impact is used is because it is what most radio impact sites use such as FMQB or Allaccess, and media like MTV and more use the phrase "impacting radio." Candyo32 06:06, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kiss and Tell "Stolen from August"

This little myth has been floating around due to an alternate version of Kiss and Tell uploaded to YouTube by Dan August Rigo (I assume). Now it has people thinking that Kiss and Tell was stolen from 'August'. Not really suggesting the myth a place on this article, but being as widespread as I've seen I think addressing it could be taken into consideration.74.15.24.123 (talk) 23:53, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
