"New Day" is a song by American hip hop recording artist 50 Cent, released July 27, 2012, as the lead single from his upcoming fifth studio album Street King Immortal (2012).[1] The song, produced by Dr.Dre and mixed by Eminem, features vocals from Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys.[2][3][4]

The single was announced during an interview with Digital Spy, uploaded on July 17, 2012,[5] with the cover art being unveiled that same day.[1] On June 28, Swizz Beatz had released the solo version of his wife Alicia Keys, "New Day" on the internet, with the beat of the song being different to the 50 Cent's version and being produced by him instead of Dr. Dre.[6][7] The single was premiered with DJ Camilo on New York City radio station Hot 97 and then later on Thisis50.[8] The song later was released on iTunes for purchase as digital single on July 30, 2012.
