POV

His Majic Seasoning Blends are among the best in the world. C'mon, this is an encyclopedia, not a commercial. BrainyBroad 03:54, 14 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Prudhomme Joke

David Letterman popularized a joke in the 1980s about both Paul Prudhomme and Don Prudhomme (a famous racecar driver).

"I just went to the new Prudhomme restaurant."

"Oh, Paul Prudhomme?"

"No, Don Prudhomme. I had the funny-car veal and nitro-burning prawns and puff-pastry."

K-Paul's

I have lived in New Orleans for decades, and I can promise you that no one has talked about K-Paul's in the list of great New Orleans restaurants in at least 20 years. 12.50.155.226 (talk) 15:41, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Paulprudhomme.jpg

Image:Paulprudhomme.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Recent news"?

Why is that there? There's no references or proof of anything, and the entire thing is too unbelievable in the first place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.194.29.144 (talk) 02:51, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This was referring to the stray-bullet incident. It is (at least now) well sourced, and I removed extraneous detail while moving it to the background section. —MJBurrage(TC) 20:20, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Advert tag

Didn't check the history to see what it was before, but now it seems pretty reasonable. There's no blatant advertising. He's a significant figure, so he rates an article. This one essentially sticks to facts. The main fault is that it's more of a stub. — J M Rice (talk) 03:36, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added his books and television, but a section on his contributions to the culinary field would be nice if anyone has a good unbiased source. —MJBurrage(TC) 20:20, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Need info in article on his line of food products

There needs to be a mention in the article of the line of food products of his that are sold in grocery stores such Cajun seasoning mixtures, hot sauce, and seasoned rice. Also, it needs more info on how he became famous such as his TV appearances. --67.101.223.215 (talk) 10:16, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
