Daniel "Dann" Pursey (born 1982 in Surrey, England) is a British artist and audio engineer who plays with Globus as the songwriter, singer, and guitarist. Pursey's first band, Vanton, was formed when he was younger - he was the bands lead vocalist and guitarist. The band played rock/grunge and garage rock music. In 2006, Pursey discovered Globus and the band Vanton was sadly broken up due to his new found commitments with Globus.

He lives with his family on a farm in Surrey, England. Globus performed a hugely successful ‘test’ concert last summer at Wembley in London. As one of the production managers said, “We’ve done rock bands, we’ve done orchestras, we’ve done choirs….but this was the first time that we’d ever had them all in one enormous show!”. He has since started up his own band, FADE which experiments with different genres of music.
