Just Dance 4 is a music video game, developed by Ubisoft as the fourth main installment of the Just Dance series of dance games. Announced at E3 2012 by Flo Rida & Aisha Tyler, it was released on the Wii, the PlayStation 3 (for PlayStation Move), and the Xbox 360 (for Kinect) on October 9, 2012 in North America, and was released in Europe and Australia on October 2, 2012. The Wii U version was released on November 18, 2012 in North America and was released on November 30, 2012 in Europe and Australia, alongside the system.[1][2]
Gameplay
Gameplay remains similar to other previous Just Dance games, as players are judged on their ability to mimic on-screen dancers performing a routine to a chosen song. The Just Create feature will not continue to be on the Xbox 360. New features in Just Dance 4 will include a dance battle mode, expansions to the game's Just Sweat mode, unlockable bonus routines for songs, and a "Puppet Master" mode exclusive to the Wii U version, which will allow a player to use the Wii U's controller to serve as a "Master" to manipulate the routine and visuals. The additional modes (Simon Says Mode, Playlists, Medley, Speed-Shuffle, and 8-Player) are removed in Just Dance 4.
Players have "Dance Quests", six missions for each song that can be completed. As you complete these missions you win points to your Mojo. Players can also create "Dancer Cards", which can also display their favorite songs, best scores, challenges and more. Online leaderboards are also available for the Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.[3]

The game contains 50 music tracks.
- A "*" indicates that the song is a cover version, not the original.
- A "(N)" indicates that the song is an NTSC (North America) region exclusive, but is a DLC on the PAL (Europe) version of the game.
- A "(P)" indicates that the song is a PAL (Europe) region exclusive.
- A "(W)" indicates that the song is a Wii U exclusive.
- A "(C)" indicates that the song can be unlocked on the NTSC-U (North America) Wii and Kinect versions of the game using alphanumeric codes found on certain Cheetos packages.
- A "(WD)" indicates that the song is a Wii U exclusive, but is available for DLC on the Wii.
- A "(E)" indicates that the song is only available for the Wii U, Kinect and PlayStation Move in the NTSC region but is available for all consoles in the PAL region.

Just Sweat Mode
The game's Just Sweat mode expands on the previous games' modes, allowing the player to create personalized workout sessions. Features include a timer to determine the duration of the workout, and a calorie counter to track how many calories burnt. Players exercise to the workout session, followed by a solo dance (Extreme or Calm), then another workout session. This repeats depending on the duration. (ex. Warm-Up → Dance → Workout → Dance → Cool Down). The five workout sessions included in Just Sweat are as follows:

Battle Mode
The game includes a dance battle mode where two dancers from two different songs will dance against each other. Both players will have a health bar, and one of them will go down if the other player dances better. If the health bar of either dancer becomes empty, the opposing player wins and the winning dancer's song will play for the next round. Each round's time is varied depending on how long the round last; when the timer reaches zero, then the dancer with the most health wins the round. There are 5 rounds in total.
