That's wrong about Keye Luke being the first Asian actor to portray Charlie Chan. The character was played by a Japanese and then a Korean in the late 20s before Warner Oland took over the role in 1931. Keye Luke was the first actor Chinese of Chinese descent to portray Charlie Chan.
