According to the World Bank, the population of Honduras is 7,754,687.
The first two teams started physical training in 2012. [1]
Rugby Tegucigalpa Honduras
The rugby club in Tegucigalpa was formed in january 2012 by a group of people including Steewart Osorto and trains at Villa Olimpica in Tegucigalpa. La Esperanza Rugby Club was formed in mid 2012 by John McCourt. They were the first club in Honduras to have rugby posts on their pitch suitable for kicking conversions and penalties. Marcala Rugby Club, Honduras
Marcala Rugby Club are based in Marcala, La Paz, Honduras. They were formed in March 2013 by Lucas Nunez and played their first ever match against La Esperanza Rugby Club on 24th March 2013, just a few weeks after being formed.
