John Steinbeck's stay in Bruton
John Steinbeck stayed and wrote in Bruton, England for some months in 1959. According to an exhibit in the town's museum, he was enthralled by Arthurian legend and began but did not complete a retelling of Thomas Malory's 'Le Morte d'Arthur'.
