However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. As a result there is no choice but to remove the link to those images so they can only be used in a way that the rules allow. It's possible there aren't any free images that can cover what you are looking for in which case you'd be unable to use an image for the intended purposes. However calling people names and saying they cannot edit areas is not civil and not allowed.
