Hi....

Replaceable fair use File:Mumbai mega city.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Mumbai mega city.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 07:10, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

May 2014

Stop icon
Your recent editing history at Andhra Pradesh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 07:02, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mr iam doing correct! and my in formation is perfect! now andhra pradesh is divided and the population of urud speakers are below 5% so iam deleting urud word fro andhra pradesh page

Kailashagiri

I hope the info on List of tourist attractions in Visakhapatnam may guide you a little bit, I've created that and added the section. http://www.vuda.gov.in/kailasagiri.html has info i guess. I hope you saw this page. Also a small advice use the third button resembling pencil to sign your comments everytime you write a comment. See this page as well[1]--Vin09 (talk) 07:47, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for your advice! you are from vizag?

Visakha veera (talk) 07:49, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I write most of the articles related to AP. Interested mostly in Vizag as well. Some pages like Economy of Visakhapatnam, Tourism of Vizag was created by me and worked, you can also have a glance and improve as you may know better than me as your name suggests you may be from vizag. By the way, did you create the article Kailashagiri use this link for quick creation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Article_wizard/Additional)--Vin09 (talk) 07:54, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Edit summaries

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.--220 of Borg 17:33, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. 220 of Borg 18:19, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Megacity may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

OP parakram

I saw that reference on 2001–02 India–Pakistan standoff page, it states 798 soldiers. you may be right.--Vin09 (talk) 14:34, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

But vino how many Pakistani soldiers are die?? we want that truth! other wise its a big shame on our army. (Visakha veera (talk) 14:38, 11 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Vizag status

You know better about vizag I guess. Acc. to population of 2011 census for vizag it is around 17 lakhs. Some users are reverting settlement status to metrolpolitan city, as far as I know metropolitan definition in India is for those cities with 40 lakh and above. Your comment.--Vin09 (talk) 14:46, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is some uncertainty in vizag population! because ankapalle and bhimili municipalities are merging in Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation! but now there is a court case running on this merging! Before 2001 there is a limit for giving metro city status. But now Even small cities like trivendrum , Madurai, salem every cities mentioned as metro city in wikipedia as metro! (Visakha veera (talk) 15:08, 11 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]

ya but metro population is in every page, I'm talking about the designation right below the name and before montage image. Metropolis(main city) and metro(or metropolitan region is an agglomeration) both are different. ok whatever let's see.--Vin09 (talk) 15:13, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The designation of Visakhapatnam city is Not Mentioned by Government of Andhra Pradesh in any G.O's! As per metroplitan Cities in india are Delhi,Mumbai,Kolkata,Chennai,Bangalore And Hyderabad Only. (Visakha veera (talk) 15:22, 11 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is User:Visakha veera adding non-free images to templates. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:14, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks

Information icon Hello, I'm Canterbury Tail. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Canterbury Tail talk 15:54, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

if we collaborating information some great persons are deleting it! but they nothing help that articles! how should i complete a task in interested? problem is its non free image ! then upload a free image! but that great persons are not do it! only they know deleting (Visakha veera (talk) 17:36, 12 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]
The issue is that non-free images, which have very limited legal allowance on Wikipedia, are being used for purposes not covered by rules. As a result there is no choice but to remove the link to those images so they can only be used in a way that the rules allow. It's possible there aren't any free images that can cover what you are looking for in which case you'd be unable to use an image for the intended purposes. However calling people names and saying they cannot edit areas is not civil and not allowed. Canterbury Tail talk 19:42, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK i am understood! you are giving good suggestion User talk:Canterbury Tail So could you create that free images of those states. you contribute your self for Wikipedia! why cant you as apart of success in Wikipedia?? So carry on for create free images for state emblems of India (Visakha veera (talk) 19:56, 12 June 2014 (UTC))[reply]
No, you don't understand. You CAN NOT create free images of the state emblems, because the emblem itself is copyrighted. It is literally not possible to create a image of the state emblem that is free. Also just so it's completely clear referring to other editors as "psycho" is a personal attack and doing it again will result in a block. - The Bushranger One ping only 21:24, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of cabinet ministers of Andhra Pradesh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Prathipadu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
