Bridenh, you are invited to the Teahouse
Hi Bridenh! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
You did a WP:BOLD edit, and it got reverted. What do you do now? You explain why your edit should stay on the talk page, and try to convince the other editor (me) that your edit should stay. I am open towards it, but there should be a very good reason for changing the definition and introducing a wordpress blog. Tutelary (talk) 00:33, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Edit warring
Please do not edit war on Radical feminism. You've reverted over three times (see WP:3RR), but over a couple days. Even though you have not violated the 3-revert-rule, you are still edit warring. Use the talk page to come to a consensus about the edit. It is clear that multiple users are not okay with your edit. EvergreenFir (talk) 22:53, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Your addition to Sandra Bem has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Referring to this edit. Speedy deletion nomination of Hybristica
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hybristica requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://books.google.mk/books?id=Y3RPAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA405&lpg=PA405&dq=Hybristica&source=bl&ots=0Yp-nTzmbl&sig=003m4EHPMM2ofa7X25XC3Z9f9lg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=YrzfU5nmEaqo0QWc2IHABw&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Hybristica&f=false. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Hi Bridenh, I cleaned up the stub a little. Since the work you took it from is in the public domain, this isn't a copyright violation. Please still be careful with copying material though; even if it's not a copyright violation, it "just" plagiarism. You can take work from PD works, but always acknowledge where the content was taken from (this is different from putting in a reference, which indicates where you got the information from. Taking information from somewhere is quite different from copying the exact content). Thanks for the article, and happy editing! Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 09:30, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Talk:Radical feminism. Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 21:02, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

RFC at Wikipedia for page protection
Last call for opinions on RFC at Wikipedia page for page protection extension. User:Pundit is in support of increasing gender equality at Wikipedia and another user is opposed to User:Pundit's efforts. Cheers. LawrencePrincipe (talk) 16:26, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
