FC Miami City (also referred to as FC Miami or FC Miami City Champions) is an American soccer team based in Miami, Florida, United States. Founded in 2014, the team plays in the Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Southeast Division as an Expansion Team [1] in 2015.

The team plays its home games at Tropical Park stadium in Miami, Florida. The team's colors are blue, white and red.

History

FC Miami City (or FC Miami) was founded in 2014 by Ravy Truchot, Wagneau Eloi, and Éric Rabésandratana to bring a top-level soccer team in Miami, FL through the USL Premier Development League (PDL) - considered the fourth division of the American soccer pyramid, roughly equal to the National Premier Soccer League - while supporting youth development and coaching by former professional players.[2]

Head coach Wagneau Eloi and Assistant coach Eric Rabesandratana are both former professional players with a broad range of Experience in coaching for adult and youth players in the Highest level such as the Haitian National Team. [dubiousdiscuss][citation needed]
