Cherussery Zainudheen Musliyar was a Sunni Muslim religious scholar from the Indian state of Kerala.[1] He was the General Secretary of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, the religious organisation of sunni Muslim scholars and clerics, which has the largest number of followers in Kerala and the Pro Chancellor of Darul Huda Islamic University . Called as the Shining Scholar ("Zain-ul Ulama") by followers he is often regarded as the successor of E.K. Aboobacker Musliar, the former stalwart of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama.[1][2][3][4]

Early life

Born in Kondoty as the son of Chershery Ahamed Musliyar. Studied under his own father and OK Zainuddeen Musliyar, Othukkungal,Malappuram

Job title

He Worked as Mudarris (Religious Teacher) at Kodangad, Kondoty, Malappuram for eighteen years. Then Chemmad Juma Masjid as Mudarris for several years. And Joined Darul Huda Islamic Academy as Principal in 1994 and now there as Pro chancellor till to this date. He is Qhatheeb (Juma pray Imam) at Qaziyarakam Juma masjid, Kondoty, Malappuram, Kerala.
