He finished his NYC career as the competition's highest ever point scorer, with 570 points.[3] In October 2011, Feldt played for the Junior Kangaroos.[4]

Playing career

2013

In Round 21 of the 2013 NRL season, Feldt made his NRL debut against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the Cowboys 30-12 win at 1300SMILES Stadium.[5][6] In Round 22 against the Penrith Panthers, Feldt scored his first NRL career try in the Cowboys 36-4 win.[7] After the Cowboys Round 23 match against the Gold Coast Titans, in which he scored 2 ties, Feldt injured his ankle at training, ending his debut season in the NRL. He scored 3 tries from his 3 appearances..[8][9] In October, Feldt was awarded the Cowboys Rookie of the Year award.[10]

2014

In Februar, Feldt played in the Cowboys successful 2014 Auckland Nines squad.[11] Feldt starred in the tournament, finishing as the highest try scorer, alongside Parramatta's Semi Radradra, with 5 tries, and was named Breakout Player of the Tournament. On 26 May, Feldt re-signed with the Cowboys until the end of 2017.[12] After the Cowboys Round 7 loss to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, Feldt spent time in the Queensland Cup for the Northern Pride before earning an NRL recall in Round 24 to replace Matthew Wright. He scored 2 tries in the Cowboys 22-10 win over Souths.[13] Feldt finished off the year with him playing in 10 matches and scoring 7 tries.

2015

In January, Feldt was a member of the newly established QAS Emerging Maroons squad.[14] On 31 January and 1 February, he again played in the Auckland Nines.[15] He played in Round 2 and Round 3 before spending a big part of the season playing for the Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Cup.[16][17] On 3 May, he represented the Queensland Residents against the New South Wales Residents, playing at centre and scoring a try in Queensland's 36-32 win at Langlands Park.[18][19] He returned to first grade in Round 24, scoring a hat-trick of tries in the match against the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium, which the Cowboys won 50-16.[20][21]

On 4 October, in the Cowboys' Grand Final match against the Brisbane Broncos, Feldt scored a try after the siren which levelled the scores and gave Johnathan Thurston a chance to win the match. Feldt scored in the corner after Thurston, pressured by Broncos front rowers Adam Blair and Sam Thaiday, was forced to pass to Michael Morgan on the final play who made a break down the right edge and flick passed to Feldt after drawing a defender. Thurston missed the subsequent kick after it hit the upright. Feldt then produced a kick off that forced a mistake from Broncos halfback Ben Hunt which gave the Cowboys the field position required for Thurston to kick the winning field goal to win the match 17-16.[22][23] Feldt finished off his premiership winning 2015 season having played in 9 matches, scoring 8 tries and kicking 1 goal.[24]

2016

On 2 February, Feldt was named in the Cowboys' 2016 NRL Auckland Nines squad.[25] On 21 February, he was a member of the Cowboys' 2016 World Club Challenge winning side, starting on the wing in the side's 38-4 victory over the Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium.[26]
