You guys are loose cannons - frequently engaging in the exact same behaviors for which you condemn others and have no business being the pots that call the kettles black. What good does it do if 3/4 of my time has to be taken up every month reverting people's reversions of MY revisions to a piece? Like I say all over - these kids need to go bother some other kids who have time energy and tolerance to be tolerating the drama.

I do not. When I was teaching, the last time I had to tolerate challenges to my work, my children were little and I wasn't even on tenure track yet. As I have become a respected member of the community - it's like a drill instructor in the military. you do what I tell you or you're not in this man's (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard etc) very long.

And like I said - generally people leave me and my work alone even on Wikipedia. To the first-time offenders I tell them just what I wrote on the AN page. Hi. I have seen some of your recent talk page comments, and I hope I can help you to avoid further difficulty in contributing to Wikipedia. BBZZZZTTT I reported THEM for harassment not the other way around.

You may have me backed into a corner for now due to the technological limitations of this itty bitty town out in the podunks and it may be true that I can't attend to you here and now as I'd like, but once I ditch this retirement life and move back to the Peninsula where I belong - where I can hang up every twenty minutes and get a new IP - all your blocking threats will return to the status of ``ineffective and a waste of time.

Especially when I re-inherit my cadre of graduate student assistants who will like nothing better than to re-revert everybody's reversions all day long everyday - and then hang up every twenty minutes as well to get a new IP.

You guys can't block everybody on Verizon, AT&T or whoever, and if you do the reverse (block every page on Wikipedia from being edited only by people logged into the system), well, then you've just shot yourself in the foot and violated your own reason for being on the Internet.

Hey dude, it's best to just ignore them. I want through the same situation you did against MarnetteD and others as well. There are a lot of scumbag people on the Internet these day's, and they have nothing better too do in their lives but vandalize articles when ever we correct them. It's best not too deal with online a**holes. People who act like that towards innocent user like you online, means that they are acting like little kids when they treat someone like this. But don't worry I'm on your side, l believe you that you are in your 70's and other stuff you said, I also still believe you work for a school too and work with students like you said. I don't put up with online a**holes on the Internet. They are just losers. I know my message here is going too get removed anyways, but I hope you get my message anytime soon.
