Maria Mika Maxine Perez Medina (born May 9, 1990) known as Maxine Medina, is a Filipino designer, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She is set to represent the Philippines at the 65th Miss Universe pageant.

Early life and education

Medina was born in Quezon City, Philippines. She obtained her primary and secondary education from Saint Theresa's College and St. Paul University Quezon City, both in Quezon City. She is an interior designer who graduated from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde and Philippine School of Interior Design, with an experience in designing residential condominiums. Medina is also a commercial and print model.

Pageantry

Binibining Pilipinas 2016

Medina participated at the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 on 17 April 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, where she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2016. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Universe Philippines 2015 and the reigning Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach. She will represent the Philippines at the 65th Miss Universe pageant.[2]
