Matt Ouimet is the president and CEO of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly traded company that owns 11 amusement parks in the United States and Canada.

In December 2008, Ouimet became the president and chief operating officer of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. He announced on October 11, 2010, that he would be leaving CCi for personal reasons.[6]

On June 20, 2011, Ouimet was named president of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. He assumed the CEO position on January 3, 2012.[8]

Born in 1958, Ouimet earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Binghamton University.[2][9]

Personal life

As of 2013, Ouimet lives in Avon Lake, Ohio. He is married and has two grown children.[9]
