Nomination of Nipun Jaswal for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nipun Jaswal is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nipun Jaswal until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. GSS (talk|c|em) 08:40, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:32, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi sinebot, I have always signed using four tilde sign after my entries. But don't know why you asked me to do that. I have always done that :) BetterSmile:D 03:35, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Removing valid red links as you did here does not appear to me to be a productive "copyedit." Indeed, it's not a copyedit at all, it's a formatting change. Red links exist -- and should exist -- as a way to help the encyclopedia grow, when the topic appears to be notable. In the case of Rankin, he has a notability beyond this one film, as indicated at Special:WhatLinksHere/Matthew_Rankin. Please see Wikipedia:Red link for more information. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:14, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

comment Yes sure. I was cleaning the page through unlinking such non functional red links. Will go ahead to try create articles for those notable red links in future. Thanks for the info BetterSmile:D 15:28, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
My advice to you, as a relatively new editor, is that when in doubt, leave such redlinks alone -- unless it's an egregious case. Red links are not "non functional." They serve a valid and important function. happy editing, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:31, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Connection with User:Axomiya deka and User:Rafiqmarbaros

Can you please tell me your relation to these users? While I want to WP:AGF, I have suspicion based on the date of your account creation and edit history that you are somehow related to this user. Prior to reporting at WP:SPI, I was hoping you could dispel my suspicion. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:17, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

'comment Hi CNMall41, I just now visited User:Axomiya deka and User:Rafiqmarbaros pages. I have no connection with them other than through wikipedia. I found User:Rafiqmarbaros edited in the discussion of Nipun Jaswal page and found User:Axomiya deka edited the page Rajdweep_(playwright_and_lyricist) where I too edited. Other than this I have no connection with these users. BetterSmile:D 01:26, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
comment Also i found your edit in the Rajdweep_(playwright_and_lyricist) page. FIY as per the article , the person is working in Assamese daily Asamiya Khabar, not in Assam Tribune. Please note BetterSmile:D 01:57, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Hello Bettersmiley. I saw your comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stitching AKN and noticed that your signature does not include a link to your user or user talk page, which is required by WP:SIGLINK. Are you signing using four tildes (~~~~)? And is the "Treat the above as wiki markup" box in your user preferences ticked? If it is, you might want to try unticking it. Hii Cordless Larry, I am using BetterSmile:D (talk) 07:01, 17 July 2017 (UTC) for signing. I have done what you suggested. Thanks BetterSmile:D (talk) 07:01, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That seems to have fixed things. You should stop getting SineBot notifiations now! Cordless Larry (talk) 07:02, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Bettersmiley. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 09:43, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Nucleus Premium Properties ltd

Hello Bettersmiley,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nucleus Premium Properties ltd for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi, it would probably be better for you to refrain from taking part in new pages patrol until you have more understanding of Wikipedia. All of these tags on one article is typically considered non-ideal. If you're interested in helping out with maintenance tasks on Wikipedia, consider the countervandalism academy. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. TonyBallioni (talk) 16:04, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hii Tony,

Yeah sure. Thanks for the message. BetterSmile:D (talk) 16:07, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
