While there are no proven likenesses of Gutenberg, and the traditional image is a long bearded, fur capped man, as shown, the ruff, in the current image, is most likely wrong. Ruffs are mostly 1570's -1600's. There is probably a better image that can be used. |

While there are no proven likenesses of Gutenberg, and the traditional image is a long bearded, fur capped man, as shown, the ruff, in the current image, is most likely wrong. Ruffs are mostly 1570's -1600's. There is probably a better image that can be used.
