The 2018 Philadelphia Eagles season will be the franchise's upcoming 86th season in the National Football League and the third under head coach Doug Pederson.
The Eagles will enter the season as the defending champions of Super Bowl LII. The Eagles will open the 2018 NFL season on September 6, 2018 as it is tradition that the previous season's champion kicks off every new season and will attempt to repeat as Super Bowl Champions

- The Eagles traded their 2nd round pick (#64 overall) to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the #2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
- The Eagles traded their 3rd round pick (#96 overall) as well as WR Jordan Matthews to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for CB Ronald Darby.
- The Eagles traded one of their 4th round picks (#130 overall) to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for RB Jay Ajayi.

2018 opponents
On January 11, 2018, the NFL announced that the Eagles will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in the International Series at Wembley Stadium in London, England, with the Jaguars serving as the home team. It will be the Eagles' first appearance in the International Series. The game will either occur during Week 7 (October 21) or Week 8 (October 28), and will be televised in the United States. The exact date, along with network and kickoff time, will be announced in conjunction with the release of the 2018 regular season schedule.[1]
The remainder of the Eagles' 2018 schedule, with exact dates and times, will be finalized and announced in the spring. As the result of winning Super Bowl LII, the Eagles earned the right to host the Week 1 NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, September 6, which will be televised by NBC.
