The article :Agile (or Scrum) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Assess table

Hi Curb! Further to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josef Schmalz: User:Swpb made two fine templates last year, assess table and the accompanying source assess; I recall using them in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Giles Roberts. I thought you would like to know about them, I find them very usefull. Kind regards, Sam Sailor 13:08, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

G2 tag

The G2 tag says that it does not apply to user sandboxes, so I have removed it from User:SovietSeal/sandbox. I agree that it was an annoyance to the reviewers. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:50, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, G2 is for test pages. The point about sandboxes (in any namespace except article-space) is that they are primarily for testing things in. Indeed, G2 has explicit exemptions for both user space and certain sandboxes. If I had encountered this, my action would have been to remove the and left the rest alone. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:24, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On Breakup of Yugoslavia (my draft)

My draft covers the 1941 Partition of Yugoslavia, not the Breakup. You see, I provide sufficient citations and cover the entire thing. Now, I aim for it to become a stub, and to be worked on by the community. GermanGamer77 15:44, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

16:24:40, 6 February 2018 review of submission by Alice Laird

Hi Thank you for your comments on my James Peele submission. I am thinking of adding some text about him and a couple of other significant historical figures in the development of double entry bookkeeping to the 'History' section of the Double-entry bookkeeping system Wikipedia article instead of adding individual articles. Do you think that is a preferable approach? Best wishes Alice

New Page Reviewer Newsletter

Hello Curb Safe Charmer, thank you for your efforts in reviewing new pages!
The NPP backlog at the end of the drive with the number of unreviewed articles by creation date. Red is older than 90 days, orange is between 90 and 30 days old, and green is younger than 30 days.

Backlog update:

 • The new page backlog is currently at 3819 unreviewed articles, with a further 6660 unreviewed redirects.
 • We are very close to eliminating the backlog completely; please help by reviewing a few extra articles each day!

New Year Backlog Drive results:

 • We made massive progress during the recent four weeks of the NPP Backlog Drive, during which the backlog reduced by nearly six thousand articles and the length of the backlog by almost 3 months!

General project update:

 • ACTRIAL will end it's initial phase on the 14th of March. Our goal is to reduce the backlog significantly below the 90 day index point by the 14th of March. Please consider helping with this goal by reviewing a few additional pages a day.
 • Reviewing redirects is an important and necessary part of New Page Patrol. Please read the guideline on appropriate redirects for advice on reviewing redirects. Inappropriate redirects can be re-targeted or nominated for deletion at RfD.

Please remember to check for copyvio

Hi Curb Safe Charmer and thanks for your work reviewing drafts. Please remember to check for copyright violations. The particular one I saw was Draft:Iota draft one, which had extensive copying from here. Thank you, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:10, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reminder, Diannaa. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:36, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
is it OK to move your posts at the above page to User talk:AshleyLau? (There was a change of username and the TP was redirected). Thanks. Eagleash (talk) 23:20, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Curb for the comments. In fact ET Business College has appeared in all reference, but it was in Chinese. If you search '經濟商學院', you will easily find them. AshleyLau (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:40, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, have included more information and references in this page although not sure if the formatting of references is correct. Please consider the page again if you find it acceptable now. Due to passage of time many references to the subject are difficult to find especially newspapers of the time because online documentation was not prevalent then, but could find some in old books through a search on google books. Regards PS what is the four tilde ? Shyamu111 (talk) 01:08, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks re: Sentientism article

Hi Curb - thanks for your feedback on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sentientism (I'm a newbie at this). I've added more references now to strengthen the relevance. Thanks JamieWoodhouse (talk) 18:48, 14 March 2018 (UTC).[reply]

New Page Review Newsletter No.10

Hello Curb Safe Charmer, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!

ACTRIAL:

 • ACTRIAL's six month experiment restricting new page creation to (auto)confirmed users ended on 14 March. As expected, a greatly increased number of unsuitable articles and candidates for deletion are showing up in the feed again, and the backlog has since increased already by ~30%. Please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day.

Paid editing

 • Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.

Subject-specific notability guidelines

Nominate competent users for Autopatrolled

 • While patrolling articles, if you find an editor that is particularly competent at creating quality new articles, and that user has created more than 25 articles (rather than stubs), consider nominating them for the 'Autopatrolled' user right HERE.

News

 • The next issue Wikipedia's newspaper The Signpost has now been published after a long delay. There are some articles in it, including ACTRIAL wrap-up that will be of special interest to New Page Reviewers. Don't hesitate to contribute to the comments sections. The Signpost is one of the best ways to stay up date with news and new developments - please consider subscribing to it. All editors of Wikipedia and associated projects are welcome to submit articles on any topic for consideration by the The Signpost's editorial team for the next issue.

Hello :) I have seen that you are one of the participants of the Wikiproject YouTube, I thought it important to tell you that this article is considered for deletion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Juanpa Zurita . I'm going to warm the rest of the WikiProject team. Bye :) --Viajaste (talk) 11:09, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Big Loud Records was a draft you declined in December. I took the draft and added to it. The company is notable as a record label that has produced a #1 hit on a major chart (Fix (Chris Lane song)), and many of the label's other releases are notable enough for articles. Baden Powell Service Association (Canada)

I have changed the references so that they refer to material that has Creative Commons licensing. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imasham (talkcontribs) 00:11, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Imasham: this is better handled by a copyright clerk who will review the article and decide what is to be done. However the issue is not the references but the body content of the article which you've copied and pasted from the BPSA website which appears to be copyright material of the BPSA. Copyrighted material can't be used on Wikipedia (other than in some very specific circumstances). This is because anything on Wikipedia can be reused by others. Having content added to Wikipedia that belongs to someone else could cause problems for the Wikipedia Foundation. See WP:COPYOTHERS.

I've made you aware of this before. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 05:44, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Agile (or Scrum) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
