In May 2018, Telemundo announced a Spanish-language version The Voice to air on the network in 2019. La Voz (U.S.) will follow the same format of the singing competition and feature four judges: Luis Fonsi, Alejandra Guzman, Carlos Vives and Wisin.[5] 173.213.212.233 (talk) 15:08, 23 October 2018 (UTC)

Cable Repeats

repeats of The Voice have aired on E! [1] [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.148.24.188 (talk) 21:22, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Misheard lyrics on "The Voice"

Does anyone know why Grimmie deliberately sang "play with matches" instead of "play with magic" for her "Dark Horse" cover on "The Voice"? Was it some sort of honest mistake, or does she have a problem with the word "magic"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:C445:18C9:218:F3FF:FEF1:1346 (talk) 01:32, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes

interesting, i usually dont edit anonymously, hadnt seen the pending changes function. i changed the tense and removed quotes. wonder if appearing anon will bias editors against my edits . I think sawyer needs his own article. there is already a saywer lookalike contest!. and Anita Baker is a fan, says she believes him when he sings.(User:Mercurywoodrose)108.94.2.231 (talk) 15:18, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Changes in coach timeline, plus ninth season

As of May 22, 2015, NBC has yet to confirm when the ninth season will air if it does, and have yet to confirm who will be judging the season. Continued addition of information with citing a source for the claims is deemed original, unreliable research; as such, the changes being made to be coaches template go against the commonly accepted format used. livelikemusic my talk page! 23:50, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Top 48/62 Contestant Table

I have never liked the way we have done the table, because it just looks like a ton of mixed colors. Im suggesting this or something similar to be more appealing to the eye.CCamp2013 (talk) 22:07, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

THIS

INSTEAD OF THIS

You must have forgotten that we've already talked about this here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Voice_(U.S._season_7) -- Just because you don't "like it," doesn't mean it has to be changed. The tables are not broken. Stop trying to fix them. It's been a year. ~ Totaldramaman (talk · contribs) 01:11, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Totaldramaman:, I totally respect your opinion and I am not trying to start anything with you. I would rather work with you, than against each other.
I do think the tables are broken thoughbecause the table doesn't allow you to view the information in the easiest way possible. You should be able to look at something like this and in a few moments get what you were looking for. You have to do more work than needed on the current table. I'm just suggesting new ideas so that we can make wikipedia the best it can possibly be. CCamp2013 (talk) 13:17, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The charts have been like that for years and you are the only one to complain about them. Plus, when you want to propose something, you shouldn't insert it into every page and then talk about it. It should be the reverse.
But still, we already had this conversation last year. The charts are fine. Leave them alone. ~ Totaldramaman (talk · contribs) 23:17, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Totaldramaman:, you seriously need to change your attitude. Also, Wikipedia suggests when you want to change something to change it, if it gets undid, that is when decision is to be had.
Im trying to work with you and all you seem to want to do is to antagonize me. Try to be a nicer person, you will be happier in life. thanks. CCamp2013 (talk) 23:58, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I live in Europe and might be considered as neutral here. In my humble opinion the proposed new table summarizes the information in a slightly more accessible way. Regards, --Toni am See (talk) 15:55, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Totaldramaman: ″...you are the only one to complain about them...″ No, he's not the only one. "The charts are fine" Your opinion, but here are some people who think differently. --Toni am See (talk) 11:33, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Distributor and Production Company wrong info

The owner of the Voice format and who should be listed under distributor and Production company is "Talpa Media" instead of "Talpa" as it's currently showing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ggrund (talkcontribs) 00:21, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Voice Kids(Spanish show)

If the page is entirely about The voice (U.S.A) and its ten seasons is there any reason why The voice kids section has to be included? I mean, its not even the U.S.A version of the voice kids (if there is any) its the spanish version (La voz kids) So why? why was it included without having nothing to do with the main article? (besides the fact that it is the spanish-kids-only version of The Voice) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talkcontribs) 21:06, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Drumerwritter: I agree with this. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:52, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Drumerwritter: according to me, I disagree. because the Spanish-speaking La Voz Kids which aired on Telemundo was filmed in the U.S. soil, and because there has not been any U.S. English-speaking version of The Voice Kids, the Spanish-speaking Hispanic version must be included. Andimuhammadrifki (talk) 19:26, 30 July 2017 (UTC+8)

@Drumerwritter: You are wrong. It's actually the USA version of The Voice Kids because it was filmed and produced in the United States, so it is fully American. And it's not the Spanish-kids-only version of The Voice, because there are other Spanish versions (Mexico, Spain, Chile). So, officially it is the one and only The Voice Kids from USA, produced and fully filmed in USA. I think your problem is that the show is filmed in Spanish, which doesn't mean it's not from USA.

Redundant table

Is there a need for the two elimination tables? Why not just converge them into one? Something like this?

@Livelikemusic: I'm interested to see what you think about this though, wether you like it or not? CCamp2013 (talk) 02:27, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The coaches gallery is hideous and they years are describing when the coach was on is confusing. I proposed two changes, both reverted by Livelikemusic. He is trying to get rid of clutter, but the gallery is clutter itself. It either needs to be trimmed to the current judges or the years need to change to seasons. (Proposed by more than just me BTW). @Livelikemusic: proposed I take to the talk page, which i did with one other thing that still no one has commented on. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:13, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The way the "Coaches Gallery" is setup is the standard on other pages relating to both The Voice (TV series) and The X Factor (TV series), and no one has yet to complain about i being "confusing" or "cluttering". Making it seasons is too clutter, as it is not an over-view of information. That's what the body paragraphs above and below are for, not a GALLERY. I would love to know how the current format is cluttering and confusing, as it's simple to understand and is clean. livelikemusic talk! 02:17, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Livelikemusic: The year has nothing to do with anything. It makes no sense being there because there are two seasons in a year, so you get zero information from that. (clutter). If the current pictures are going to be there, then the year needs to be taken off to reduce clutter. And it needs to be more organized. The current judges need to be together and former judges need to be together. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:26, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You don't have to ping me, btw. I have this on my Watchlist. And as I said previously, the years are included on other pages and has not been disputed, and even there, it airs two seasons per physical year. So, no clutter is added. And it should NOT be split into "former" and "current". That alone does not reduce clutter, it encourages it. Just because an artist is not on the current physical panel, does not mean they are not a current judge. I feel as if there is nitpicking going on; international pages don't face this kind of trouble, so I'm failing to see why the US one has to be any different whatsoever. livelikemusic talk! 02:37, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Just because something isn't disputed doesn't mean it is necessarily better. Also, When a judge leaves the current year, it doesn't matter that they will return or not, they aren't a current judge. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:41, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Again, seems to be nitpicking the years. Maybe we should just REMOVE them, and put back the table that was in this edit, even though I do not believe the years should be removed, as they are relevant enough to provide an over-view of the paragraph above. livelikemusic talk! 02:47, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Id prefer not to add the table. It is redundant to information that is below. I'd agree to removing the years though. I'm not sure if you would like that without the proposed re-added table though. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:51, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't remove the years if we didn't add the table back in; we should wait for more opinions at this point, to see where this discussion could go. So, I suggest we leave it as is until more discuss. livelikemusic talk! 02:54, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I did want your opinion about the above discussion though. CCamp2013 (talk) 02:58, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I will look it over tomorrow; I am off to bed now, as it is 11 PM here and I have work at 8 AM. And I'm not well-reserved on tables above, so I do have to take a look over it. livelikemusic talk! 03:04, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need a consistent style for contestants' names?

I've started a discussion on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Television on whether we should have a consistent style for naming participants in reality/competition shows. If you have any opinion on this, your input would be welcome. Hzh (talk) 23:30, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion to make it a consistent is carried into here Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Television/August 2016 updates/Cast and characters section#Names for reality/competition shows participants. As it may affect how the names of the contestants and judges should be used in articles on The Voice, your opinion would be welcome. Hzh (talk) 10:10, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Color Coding for Team Members is confusing

Hey. Just wanted to point out that in the color coding section it looks like Miley won seasons before she even began on the show. The idea behind the color coding is great but right now the chart seems jumbled and is really hard to read. I don't even think the series overview table is necessary. Just do a short table listing each coach, the winners, and the season they won. Someone just went table crazy on this page. No other reality show page is this cluttered.

Season 13: the Playoffs and the Live Shows: Combined or Distinguished Section?

for those who combine the playoffs and the live shows in one section for this season, please never do that again. the playoffs can only be combined with the live shows in one section if they are also live, no matter whether they are aired daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. but in this season, they are not. see season 6 page as a comparison.
