A finger heart is a gesture in which a person forms a heart shape using their index finger and thumb.[1]
It was then invented by South Korean actress Kim Hye-soo in 2010. [2]
In South Korea it is a known symbol among K-pop stars and their fans and has popularly been performed using the thumb and index finger.[3] The thumb and index finger gesture has become popular across Asia due to the popularity of K-pop and Korean dramas. However, this Korean variant of hand-heart gesture resembles the gesture of (asking for) money in some parts of the World.
