Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

Hello, INDV100, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Changing of images on Narendra Modi

Please stop changing the image on the page. The current image has consensus and if you would like to change it you have to start a discussion on the talk page. Reverting edits ad nauseam will get you nowhere. Prolix 💬 06:51, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unrelated images

Please stop adding unrelated images to Statue of Unity. Stick to adding images that are relevant to the article alone to reduce clutter. Prolix 💬 06:58, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Narendra Modi, you may be blocked from editing. Prolix 💬 18:04, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Narendra Modi. If you change the infobox image again without consensus you WILL be blocked for disruptive editing Prolix 💬 18:05, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Manish Sisodia. Walrus Ji (talk) 15:26, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Arambagh (Lok Sabha constituency), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. Please describe in greater detail how your editing was unconstructive and how you would edit constructively if unblocked. Can I know the date of unblock ? INDV100 (talk) 05:57, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

INDV100 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I think what I have done that was completely unfair, but if I have been unblocked, I would try to discuss with the users and administrators about using the new image. But I request to unblock me and also I again do apologize for that.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I think what I have done that was completely unfair, but if I have been unblocked, I would try to discuss with the users and administrators about using the new image. But I request to unblock me and also I again do apologize for that. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I think what I have done that was completely unfair, but if I have been unblocked, I would try to discuss with the users and administrators about using the new image. But I request to unblock me and also I again do apologize for that. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I think what I have done that was completely unfair, but if I have been unblocked, I would try to discuss with the users and administrators about using the new image. But I request to unblock me and also I again do apologize for that. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}
