Draft:Nate Adams (Yo-kai Watch)

Hello. Recently you rejected the draft Nate Adams (Yo-kai Watch) as it needed to "show notability in influence on other shows". This is the first I've heard of this requirement for fictional characters. Are there any other ways to prove the notability of characters? Cheers, IanTEB (talk) 09:55, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

IanTEB, is the character often compared with other similar characters in other shows. Look at Allen Walker or Eren Yeager for example and their extensive popularity and critical response sections. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 18:48, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, I might be able to add that. Thanks for the help! IanTEB (talk) 19:02, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, again. I've now added a paragraph to the reception section covering comparisons that have been drawn from the character. I was wondering if this addresses your concern or if there's still more to improve/fix. Cheers, IanTEB (talk) 11:27, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

71.183.212.131, you need to discuss this at Talk:SpaceX first. You also should not be copy-pasting from existing articles like that without attribution. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 00:15, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 22:15:22, 22 January 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Jenplayswithcars

Hi there! Thank you for your review and comment. I appreciate all of the work the editors do here and hope to learn to create articles more frequently. I have reviewed and changed some of the language that I thought might be viewed as promotional in tone. Can you please review again and provide further guidance?

Thank you! Jenplayswithcars (talk) 22:15, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jenplayswithcars, there are still some paragraphs that aren't referenced to anything especially the championship wins. They brag about how he is the only one to do it. Also please help identify secondary sources that cover Papadakis's career that aren't just passing mentions, so not just race results that mention the team brand. Help with a draft

Help

Hi! What can we do to publish this article on wikipedia. It would be great if you can give us some advice on what needs to be changed. All the references have already been attached to the article. It is one of the biggest debating topic in India. Its an engaging article for many people within the country . I would be glad to hear a response from you. Thank You. Draft:Aranthangi Nisha

You need to reference it with reliable sources. Do not cite Times of India. Nisha doesn't seem to meet WP:ENT, only appearances in reality television contest shows and not a clear winner like with Divya Agarwal. Notice on Divya's article she has coverage from a variety of different sources. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 14:41, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, what do you mean by "WE"? You should only have one person use one Wikipedia account. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 14:41, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited as directed. Could you please possibly let me know if I've succeeded? Thanks. TimHitchings (talk) 16:39, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

TimHitchings, can you list three news articles that cover Holl's life in detail but that aren't from his websites or press clippings? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:33, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
AngusWOOF, I'm not sure of the type of articles I should be searching for. Could you possibly provide further guidance? Hi Angus, hope you are doing well. I saw your message here Draft:Talal H. ThanksCara T Williams (talk) 18:31, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cara T Williams, can you find articles that focus on Alsaleem's career, and not just ones where he's giving bits of advice or ones where he's written the article? Also do not cite International Business Times per WP:RSP it's not a reliable source. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 18:33, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Hi Woof, thank you so much for your feedback. I closely monitored and patterned both Gabrielle Bernstein and Brene' Brown's Wiki pages so that I could try to include my neutral information as best as possible (ex: publishing my books, working for famous scientists, being interviewed by the media, etc.). The trademark I understand because I just now looked up "Coca-Cola", so thank you! I will work on editing it. I know ThriveGlobal is blacklisted (from my sandbox creation and notification last night). 16 hours spent last night and today down the drain...well, thank you for your feedback! :) Jaclyn

PiscesJNJ (talk) 04:21, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PiscesJNJ, the external news articles that objectively discuss your life and career and that aren't Q&A's would be more useful to emphasize. Keep in mind WP:PROUD, that if there are critics of your work or stuff you'd rather not have publicized but is fairly public knowledge, that may have to be included. NikNar555, it seems to have been too promotional and needs a complete rewrite. Also, per WP:COI, please disclose if you are associated with the professor in any manner. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 06:50, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Dear AngusWOOF,
Thank you very much indeed for your time and comments.
I do confirm, that I have no relationship (family, friend, client, employer, financial and any other) with Rima Khachatryan. I have just read her books and articles about her, that have been published in Armenia after her death.
The two main causes made me to prepare the article for Wikipedia (that are in line with the Wikipedia requirements), are:
1. She received the highest award in Armenia for teachers - Honorary Title of "Honored Pedagogue" (very few teachers receive this),
2. She authored and published two textbooks, that have been key learning sources for state medical colleges of Armenia since 2007-2009 (and they still are now).
Anyhow, I've rewrote significant amount of the article, removed bullet points, excluded some personal data, that may distruct from the topic, and added some appropriate categories. I am ready to edit the article per your request, and I will highly appreciate it if you find it possible to provide with some brief instructions on what parts (or statements) still should be changed.NikNar555 (talk) 12:25, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Dear AngusWOOF
I have edited the last version once again. The text was shortened, several chapters were combined into one to make the article more informative..NikNar555 (talk) 09:44, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

New here

Hello, Just created first article here which is waiting to be approved, so any tips or help massively appreciated as I'm not very tech minded. Cheers JT John T Ghillie (talk) 00:50, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

John T Ghillie, please disclose if you have any association with the firefighter. A lot of the information seems to be coming from press releases that praise him in a good light. You may need someone to clean up the references in the article. They should be to news sources that cover his career, not passing mentions where he speaks a line or two regarding an incident. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 06:49, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

John T Ghillie (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Angus: I've read his textbooks that he wrote and followed his training programmes. He has a reputation as an outspoken and controversial firefighter that has publicly voiced opinions that should have been listened to nationally far earlier, especially with respect to Grenfell. As firefighters, our lives are at risk by this blatant act of ignorance and the real visionaries, like Walker should be recognised. This is why I have chosen to create this page. All help is appreciated. JT. John T Ghillie (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Angus.... Textbooks in question are used widely as indicated by Amazon Reviews for all textbooks

Also on recommended reading lists from Institution of Fire Engineers a worldwide awarding professional body including in South Africa- see links below - I suggest this has International impact as IFE is a global professional and awarding body

https://www.ife.org.uk/write/MediaUploads/Exams/2019_Recommended_Reading_List.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjCos3Lv8PuAhXZTxUIHdp7BXMQFjAAegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw1eEtgvyVB3nftECs5ERvEI

https://www.scribd.com/document/430168900/Recommended-Reading-List-pdf

Also Walker's textbooks published procurement lists of each UK Fire Service as mandatory reading, this being one example..these are blocked by Wiki (public expenditure?)

Another example off international reach was the responses from global Firefighters to subject (who I follow on LinkedIn) with responses to books and potential new editions from global sources as far as Canada and Argentina including Her Majesty’s Inspector of Fire Services (UK) Dan Stephens Queens Fire Service Medal confirming breadth of use.

As stated, I have read textbooks and followed teachings of Ben Walker and Shan Raffel (Co teacher) for many years and does not seem equal or right that Raffel has a Wikipedia page when Walker, whom Raffel in interview with Fire Magazine (cited) on Raffel's Wikipedia page, personally names Walker as the "Driving force" behind improving fire dynamics and Firefighter knowledge internationally. Whilst both work in tandem frequently it seems like a page for Laurel that omits Hardy- forgive the comedy pun.

Article that declined as citation on warnings of declining Firefighter knowledge of buildings and tactics actually was reposted/linked by subject recently on a LinkedIn forum and is from a respected industry journal "Fire Risk Management Journal" April 2017- can be viewed in depth and context here.

https://www.linkedin.com/posts/benwalker_critical-path-frm-april-2017pdf-activity-6761003730025369600-MkG_

Also - conference coverage that you have questioned was from another industry Journal "Fire Engineering" part of Clarion Publishing USA (formerly Penn Well Group) so not self-published, subject just being interview as international speaker.

Addditional articles such as subject's pre-warning of governmental and Commissioner's denial are from the UK broadsheet newspaper "The Guardian" and are both timely and topical when looked at in context/"timeline as Precedent to Grenfell.

Walker's textbooks are published by Pavilion Media a large UK producer of textbooks for medical and engineering industries, so can't really be considered "self-published", copies are available in British Library and almost every fire department worldwide as stufy materials for IFE exams (required for promotion to Officer levels) in most nations globally in Fire Service.

I appreciate your advice Angus, but struggling to see how we can contribute further without seeking out personal testimonials from Amazonian reviews etc. I found a review of Walker's textbooks in a French magazine which I can send a jpeg of if you like.

All advice appreciated as I would like this page to be up, particularly prior to the end of the Grenfell enquiries as Walker has been one of the very few fire service innovators and visionaries in the UK, who has a body of work and international repute proving that he should be an even more pivotal figure moving forward in the name of public safety and Firefighter skills development.

Can this article be re-reviewed on this basis please?

JT

John T Ghillie, regarding the textbook aspect. I'm just trying to see if there are course pages where they list those textbooks on their syllabus as with other educational / professional institutions. Do not cite Amazon reviews. As for the incidents section, that needs to be clarified where Walker's role in the controversy was. It's not very clear from what was currently written as you cited articles that don't even have his name in it. Also you mention he's a regular subject matter expert on Sky and other major media. Do you have news articles that support that and that aren't coming from his press clippings at his website? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:14, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Angus - news commentary re Grenfell and Walker interview as a subject matter expert linked to Russia Today News and their own YouTube channel. As Sky and BBC no longer on iplayer those references removed. Textbooks are linked to recommended reading lists for Institution of Fire Engineers which iss only international awarding aand professional body in Fire Industry and only global organisation. News articles especially re Blaze Rescue, Walker mentioned and interviewed as commanding Officer. Grenfell- Walker's Guardian article-he is referred to at introduction and conclusion of that and as author/expert of journal article "critical path" both pre dated and contradicted statements later made by London Fire Commissioner. Additional links to an additional University thesis heavily citing the textbooks can be added, with regard to personnel trained/fire dept, this could just add literally a list of hundreds of departments and thheir conference attendees, which wouldn't add anything to Wikipedia except back up the notability.... Point taken re Amazon. What do you suggest and are we getting nearer on this?

Fire Rescue industry isn't massive so it's actually rare that a subject such as this will receive this amount of notability.

Trying hard with this- and appreciate your help.

GRIZZLY II: REVENGE PAGE DECLINE DECISION

Okay, what gives? The movie is real and does exist and has been released and the sources DO support pretty much everything on it so I don't get why you felt this page couldn't be passed. What issues did you have and what needs to be corrected? I am offended and disappointed so please enlighten me. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 06:12, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DevonteHuntley, please read my comments on that draft article. You need to expand on the reception given to the film. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 06:43, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What reception exactly? You need to be more specific because I don't understand. All I am reading is that the sources aren't reliable, but the sources support the movie. I mean, anyone can google it and see that it exists so having faulty sources isn't a reason to dismiss the whole page on an official movie that is right as far as release, actors, plot, etc. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 07:20, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DevonteHuntley, check the Reception section. You just list a bunch of newspapers. You're not describing what the critics are saying about the film in detail such as with the original Grizzly (film)#Reception AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 08:33, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's why you declined the page? I mean, you still could have approved it and just told me to remove it, or you could have done that. I'll look it over and see what I can do. So if that gets fixed, then the page can be re-summitted for approval? - DevonteHuntley (talk) 21:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so I went through the section and noticed it provided no reception. I should have checked this, but just so you know I did not make this and simply copied-and-pasted what was on the Grizzly page regarding the sequel that some one did not even bother making page for and just slapped it on the first movie's page, hence me making one. Anyway, I trimmed down most of the sources in the paragraph that I didn't think was needed and moved the remaining portion to the RELEASE section, so the Reception section has been removed and no longer there. Check it out, hopefully it's a lot better. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:00, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DevonteHuntley, can you add back the reception section but take 2-3 notable critics' reviews from major papers and detail that? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 22:12, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Were there any in the section that you know of? If so I'll have to go back to the archives to retrieve them now. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:14, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I just added a couple in so far. How do you like them? - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DevonteHuntley, yeah, looks better! AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 00:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I just re-submitted it so hopefully it gets approved this time! - DevonteHuntley (talk) 00:02, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to add more reception and also how it fared at the festivals. Did it win any notable awards? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 00:05, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'll find more reviews to add. I'm not sure of any rewards, I can't imagine it earning any given how incomplete and bad this is, but I'll look out for those too. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:24, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm trying to get the redirect removed. That it has over 10 reviews from newspapers/major news websites all over helps. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 19:04, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for the page approval! I'm glad I was able to fix what needed to be fix and now it's there officially and can be tweaked and touched up by other users as needed. My first page too. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 21:39, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Lord Garmadon

Hello, thanks for your feedback on Draft:Lord Garmadon. I had almost forgotten about it, as it seems such a long time ago when I wrote it. I have a query about notability of the character. I have taken onboard the other issues with regards to length, detail and fictional perspective. I was going to abandon it, but then I thought maybe it is worth a second look. Anyway, the query is in relation to this page: Emmet Brickowski which is deemed notable yet has precisely two references, none of which provide any in-depth analysis of the character. I am not confident that there are any indepth sources about Lord Garmadon's character, although I do have a book that describes the character which I could reference. So my query is why there is a disparity between the two? If I shorten and rewrite the text from a non-fictional perspective, is there any possibility it may be accepted? It seems a shame to abandon a major character that has appeared in numerous episodes and a movie. I would very much appreciate any clarification. Thanks Fieryninja (talk) 09:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fieryninja, a book that describes the development of the character would be helpful for the Development section. But yeah it needs a reception / impact section to show independent notability outside of the list of characters. Otherwise it can be developed in the list of characters. Compare Dr. Agasa or Gin (Case Closed). They are major characters in the Case Closed series but don't have enough to warrant their own articles. Please provide news articles that show it in that perspective then. Otherwise it could redirect to thst list. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:24, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That was the only news source that said that but the Wikipedia source said that it is tied with at least one other shooting as the deadliest of 2020. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Barbaro Reyes Cho (talkcontribs) 20:36, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Aliza Ayaz

Hi, I have reverted your manic cleanup tagging of this accepted AfC for Aliza Ayaz, as you were the nominator of a previous deletion request (last result was draftify). See WP:Articles for deletion/Aliza Ayaz. It seems to me that you have a clear conflict-of-interest or other issues here. Perhaps an uninvolved editor or previously-involved administrator should exercise oversight? Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 15:55, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Esowteric, I don't know the person or any of their associations (UCL, UN), so why would I have a conflict of interest? Please see the notes that I have with the tagging. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:54, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Esowteric, also please note I am not AngusMEOW or Angus1986. That was a different editor. The current article has a tone of attributions to UCL that is associated with the subject. It also has peacock verbiage that paints the subject in a positive light. These need to be cleaned up.AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:57, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I realized later that it wasn't AngusMEOW (he's since changed his username more than once). Perhaphs you didnt check all my sources closley enough. These sources below are all in depth and not interviews. They are mostly in German, but you can use google Translate in Chrome to read them. bluewin.ch landr.com rheintaler.ch fm1today.ch tagblatt.ch Besides, I meet the notability guidelines of WP:MUSICBIO as stated below. I also removed some of my own website links. Please review again.Fabian Egger (talk) 08:50, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fabian Egger, I'm not looking at all the sources. I just need the WP:THREE best ones. Also you need to remove ones where they don't mention you, and don't reference the YouTube videos unless they are news media that reference you by name. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 20:03, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fabian Egger, there are a bunch of references that are coming straight out of Q&A interviews, primary sources and profiles. These need to be taken out for now as they cloud up the notability. The article should be able to stand on secondary sources independent of the subject. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 21:57, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've read Reliable sources and observe other wiki pages of television directors and on the basis of which i used press release as well as official episode links with time stamp (as proof) for citing sources . You demanded me in depth details of khan's career but didn't told me possible sources , i thought reputed news articles are reliable enough to prove that he is director of so and so television serials but it also lacks in provide that according to Wikipedia . Wikipedia denied wiki page as source , user generated content , personal blogs , interviews (told by reviewer) , even IMDb is not a proof , official social media post of the subject is also not a proof then what left . Just tell me other possible reliable third party sources for the Indian television director's wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Atif_Khan_(Director) . That would be great help from you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khan Ahsan 1 (talkcontribs) 20:47, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Khan Ahsan 1, see WP:RSP and WP:INCINE for what constitutes reliable or unreliable sources. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 21:46, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Josh Gruss

Hi AngusWOOF, You recently declined the Josh Gruss page. I'm working on improvements as I think this person is viable and credible and should have their own wiki page. If you don't mind to explain when I update is there anything I should delete or keep so you can see the improvements and leave to be approved? Thank you! ADHP2021 (talk) 21:31, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ADHP2021, you need to find secondary news source articles that focus on Gruss separate from Round Hill, otherwise it should be a redirect to Round Hill. Do not cite press releases or routine news announcements. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 22:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much! Also once I'm ready should I have you proof or just re-submit? Also do I take your citations off? Thank you! ADHP2021 (talk) 22:33, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ADHP2021, you can resubmit. Any AFC reviewer can look it over then. But don't remove the existing AFC reviewer comments. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 00:26, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by ADHP2021 (talkcontribs) 03:41, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, you have declined this article on the basis of not meeting notability requirements, based on what you declare to be an insufficient number of reviews and articles.

I have to say that I don't understand your reasoning here. Three references isn't enough to start a stub article? The game is approaching five million plays on Newgrounds alone in under three months - claiming it's not a notable title doesn't seem supported by that evidence.

Please provide your reasoning and thresholds as to required coverage, and/or others of authority/agency possibly to appeal this case to? Thank you!

ProfessorWeebish (talk) 03:22, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ProfessorWeebish, you need to provide reviews of the games from those articles and use video game websites as listed on the reliable section of WP:RSP. Newgrounds is self-published so you can't use that as one of your references that shows notability. Tech Raptor hasn't been vetted as reliable. That leaves the BC news article and Polygon. The review should be described in the reception section not just a note saying it's been covered by Polygon. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:04, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_181#TechRaptor
This is a fair response. There are no other reviews of the game yet. Nevertheless it has indeed broken 5m views in three months, I believe it has to be considered a notable title.
What exactly would it take for you to approve this article as a stub? Can you assist me in making the necessary edits and changes, as a learning experience for me?
Thanks so much!
ProfessorWeebish (talk) 13:20, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ProfessorWeebish, the reviews need to be expanded upon, like saying: (critic) of (magazine/website) wrote that: (criticism of subject, both good and bad). (Critic 2) of (magazine 2) said: ... If there are game review websites from the Reliable section of WP:VG/RS, those will help. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:24, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Benjamin Walker (Firefighter)

Hi Angus- suggestions made as required- links such as Walker being interviewed on Russia Today NEws re Grenfell on their Youtube channel. As SKY/BBC stuff no longer on their iplayer- that has been removed.

Some sources removed where not directly mentioned- but industry journals and presenter interviews are not "primary" and are from respected and long established industry journals.

Regarding use of Walker's textbooks, would a long list of departments- whose personnel and trainers have attended his conferences add worth and also painful to verify/check for you - who was there, where when at literally dozens of conferences.... The Institution of Fire Engineers' (have their own Wikipedia page) are the only international organisation and awarding body in firefighting industry and link/citation to their reading list containing Walker's textbooks provided as citation- will this suffice as their membership and those undertaking examinations and using said reading lists are global.

With regard to controversy- whilst perhaps not reported as national news, it has been pointed out within the fire industry extensively that messages Walker's 2016 Guardian article "Firefighter Training Cuts" etc and his Fire Risk Management Journal Article in April 2017 about Firefighters not being adequately prepared in building and construction knowledge and use in firefighting operations both pre-dated Grenfell and stood in contrast with the then Commissioner's stance that there was no predictions or precedence. The Grenfell Inquiry did not mention this, despite industry pressure from Firefighters. Textbooks, established journal article and a broadsheet newspaper article that directly warned of factors that became applicable/exposed in Grenfell is noteworthy in itself.

I thank you once again for your guidance and hope we are getting nearer. For reasons above, it would be timely if this was approved prior to the Grenfell Inquiry resuming for the wider fire and public safety benefit.

Hi Angus,

Also got sent this academic degree paper link from University of Central Lancashire which was authored by the Head of live firefighting Training- Chris Tyler for South Yorkshire Fire Rescue Service (UK) which is used extensively as a basis for uk firefighting tactics and also cites Walker as the subject matter expert as well as references https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ag30i5aPI3G-OuiIZjsr6myf7jUhJgkP [1]

HI Angus- thanks for this- what do you need for Controversy clean-up on this- more context such as "discussed within firefighting industry but not picked up by wider media"? I will re-ask Chris Tyler for a copy of that thesis if required- should I email it to you if I download- or any other way to make available to you?

John T Ghillie, it should be from stuff that's publicly available, not emailed or instant messaged to you or me, so newspapers, magazines, websites would suffice. The controversy section needs some cleanup to show his role in the events, like if he wrote some critiques in the Guardian and then others responded with more published articles, that would work. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 16:56, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
John T Ghillie, I shortened the FDIC section. Comments from random attendees like David from the On Target Prep website doesn't really carry as much weight, but at least it confirms he was the keynote speaker. If some of the writers from the magazines gave a detailed critique on his presentation then that can be mentioned by name, magazine, and description, much like a review for a film. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 16:59, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Angus- after discussing the concepts of that article on a private fire group- in light of me mentioning that I had been talking of it- it's been reposted by a fire professional online- who is not the author Chris Tyler; obviously Walker is extensively mentioned within.

Draft:Sowon (singer)

@AngusWOOF: Hi, would appreciate your reply in regards to

This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.

May I know, what you meant by "not adequately supported by reliable sources" because as far as I'm aware of as per WP:KO/RS, all sources included inside Draft:Sowon (singer) is considered reliable.

In case there's some misunderstand, I'm just confused about why it's considered "not adequately supported by reliable sources" because I often use majority of website included inside the draft.

Note: This discussion is about the quoted text (ignore the heading), I don't care about the Draft getting rejected. Paper9oll (📣📝) 04:26, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merged AfC drafts

Hi AngusWOOF, you very recently merged some drafts into Draft:Jaiden Animations. I merged some important details to the lead and I'm not sure they're needed anymore. How come my ability to get 1b1 and data with lbl to come up on the Inofobox character list is gone?!

Hi AngusWOOF,

While reviewing all the episodes of the amazing miniseries, The Queen's Gambit, I noticed all of the primary actors had wiki pages, except one, Moses Ingram, who played Jolene. She was amazing and certainly deserves her own page. I created one, but then later found an abandoned draft, so I replaced it with my draft. Totally new and retrofitted, I'm sure you'll like the added references and the layout. Could you please give it your editor's view on this, make any suggestioins, and approve it for submission?

Thanks,

Not sure if the tilde's work here (my first post to a user page, besides my own, which is pretty stark).

DarlArthurS

DarlArthurS DarlArthurS 19:04, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DarlArthurS, see WP:TOOSOON and WP:ENT, she needs to have multiple lead roles in lead productions, and so far only has Queen's Gambit. So if you can find more articles that show her notability despite that, then that will help. Compare with Olivia Rodrigo whose page didn't become official until she had her second lead role in High School Musical the Musical TV series. You need to remove Fandom (website)/Wikia and IMDb from the references as they are user-generated sources. Dig up other news articles that focus on Ingram's career. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 19:13, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Angus, appreciate the feedback. She has one film about to be released and another in the making, so I'll update her page when those become public. And I'll remove the IMDB and Fandom references, didn't realize that user generated sources aren't accepted. That's a bit meta though.  :)

Question

Hi there. How are you doing? Could you please read out my post on the talk page of One Piece regarding updating the number of chapters and volumes of the main article into 1002 chapters and 98 volumes which the series has up to date? After reading it, do the change on the article or ask someone else to do it, please. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.195.107.55 (talk) 15:09, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

190.195.107.55, the article already says: As of February 2021, 994 chapters have been collected in 98 tankōbon volumes,[48] with 8 more chapters not yet published in volume format.[49] So what is the concern? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:41, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well... Isn't it obvious? It should be updated from 994 to 1002 chapters... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.195.107.55 (talk) 16:33, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

190.195.107.55, 994 in volumes + 8 = 1002. Has Volume 99 been released yet? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:59, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for your keen eye on the photo change. I think I was confused about how to do the Wikimedia Commons attribution (I am the photographer; I had added it to Wikimedia Commons myself with as open of a CC as I thought was possible, but I am not extremely tech-savvy and may have done it incorrectly when I put it on the subject's page.) Nightkoolaid, I suggest checking with Wikipedia:Contact us/Article subjects about emailing submitting photos so that you can give the proper permission? It's harder if it's already copyrighted and widely used by her website, but if you have other photos, that might help. If you have taken photos of her at a public event, then that's probably easier to share. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 02:31, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Proper AFC discussion nesting?

Hey Angus, you have more experience in this area than I do. Is there a proper way to have a nested discussion in an AFC? I just looked at two dozen randomly selected ones at and can't find any examples. If you look at Draft:Ashuddhi, I attempted to have a discussion with the sockpuppet, er, the article creator, but when the draft was declined, the AFCH software moved around some of the discussion, which leads me to believe that I wasn't using correct formatting. Are the bullet-indents the problem? Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:54, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cyphoidbomb, I'm not sure there is. You could make sure each comment in the discussion was generated by AFCH and then the time stamps would sort themselves out. Otherwise, it might be worth moving discussions to the talk page? AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 21:00, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
