Hi AngusWOOF, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas |
Hello, this is the real name of such and such a person. As in Persian, the original name of the transferred article should be the same here.؟--محمد پورمند (talk) 14:29, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- محمد پورمند, I'm confused as to what you would like to do? Are you saying that you are Maedeh Hojabri, that you are requesting the article for Arrest of Maedeh Hojabri be renamed to Maedeh Hojabri, or something else? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:45, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- No my friend I am not this person. I mean this person's Maedeh Hojabri should be attached to the main Arrest of Maedeh Hojabri.--محمد پورمند (talk) 17:53, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Sure, I can create a redirect for that. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:54, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. If you do this, I think the article should be his original name. What is your opinion?--Pourmand (talk • Contribution) 18:04, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- محمد پورمند, it's done. It should be the event. There is nothing notable about the person outside of that event for now. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:07, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- And one more question, can this new draft of mine be on the home page?--Pourmand (talk • Contribution) 18:14, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Danny Ranes
Could you review https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Danny_Ranes#Early_Lives again? I have improved it.--2601:206:301:6300:258D:EE84:25AA:637A (talk) 03:44, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
- 2601:206:301:6300:258D:EE84:25AA:637A, you need to show that the event is notable beyond just the local area. Has that crime story been covered nationally? Are newspapers still writing about it years later? Are podcasters and the like picking it up? See WP:NEVENT? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:38, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
Yes newspapers are still writing about it years, especially right now as his accomplice has now been granted parole and the crime story does get somewhat notable coverage outside of Michigan and podcasters and the like are picking it up. Example:[1]--Dylan Harris Golden (talk) 00:49, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
References
- Dylan Harris Golden, is that a notable podcast? Has there been television coverage? You need to put some of that into the article. Also there are whole sections where the narrative is unsourced. That needs to be filled in with references. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 03:47, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
I don't know about Television coverage but there is coverage outside of Michigan because one of the sources of from a national news site, the podcast is notable and there are also a lot more sources now.--Dylan Harris Golden (talk) 08:41, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Dylan Harris Golden, per notability for events, you should include that kind of legacy and coverage into the article. Also, the paragraphs have a lot of excessive detail that should be pared down to what is actually covered by the reference. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:42, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
I don't know what you mean by that as i have Autism, ADHD, and a speech understanding disorder, but I will try my best to improve the draft.--Dylan Harris Golden (talk) 19:07, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Dylan Harris Golden, you should have a Legacy section in the article to discuss how the case is still being discuss on television, radio, podcasts, and related media today. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:11, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Dylan Harris Golden, each sentence in the paragraph details needs to be referenced to an article that supports your writeup. for example, if the narrative says that Danny bought a cheeseburger, there should ba a reference that the reader can go to that shows that same detail. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:12, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

- Meters, thanks for the heads up. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 03:24, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Meters, do you think the article should be CSD for G5 socking? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:19, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- I think we would first have to open an SPI to get a finding that the article creator user:Darren Cross is a Cadeken sock (as of now he's just listed as as suspected sock, and indef'ed but not for socking). It might be worth doing just to get rid of that draft. All of the other contributors are socks of Darren Cross, and the draft is pretty bad. Most of the sources are actually about Danny Ranes's brother or about the other perp, Brent Koster, Meters (talk) 22:20, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Meters, I'll request CSD G5 for now as he was the primary contributor to the article. Doesn't need salting for now unless it comes up again by more socks. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:54, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks,. I'll keep an eye on it. If it does not fly I'll go the SPI route. One of the IPs asked me to proxy the draft creation for him, which is something the other known socks have also done, so more evidence for the possible SPI. Meters (talk) 22:48, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- And yet more proof re the IP. He just restored some material to Talk:Richland High School shooting that was originally added by user:C Cocaine Meters (talk) 00:04, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Angus,
Thanks for reviewing my draft The Global Church Project submission. I see you deleted it because the sources were not independent. This is probably because I suck at creating Wikipedia pages, because there are a lot of independent Christian news and theological colleges profiling The Global Church Project. What should I do? Chicago3391945 (talk) 07:41, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- Chicago3391945, now it's gone the other extreme where you have dozens of name-dropping websites that have trivial, directory-like mentions WP:Passing mention of the project. I suggest re-reading WP:CORPDEPTH and focus on just providing a handful of external news sources independent of the subject that cover the organization in depth. You don't need to list every organization / media that mentions the project, just pick out a handful of ones that discuss in detail. See WP:THREE AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 13:33, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- Chicago3391945, I would also shorten it to a paragraph or two on the subject to show that it is notable enough for its own article. Just trying to get it to pass notability, and then you can expand it later. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 13:53, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your advice. I have made changes, following your guidance.

Thanks. Here they are:
1. The work of the Project on women theologians from across the global profiled by one of the largest seminaries in the USA (Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary): https://www.gordonconwell.edu/blog/women-theologians-you-should-know-about-from-the-global-church-project/

3. The Project's work profiled at Christian Courier News: https://www.christiancourier.ca/joining-powerful-global-conversations/

5. The project's work on global women's voices on climate justice profiled by the American Academy of Religion: https://readingreligion.org/books/planetary-solidarity
Chicago3391945 (talk) 08:20, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
I have also halved the number of references, to deal with the problem of reference overkill.
Chicago3391945 (talk) 10:16, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi Angus. How does this article look now? In the article, I have shown that the project's research has been profiled in: (1) Australia's national public broadcaster, ABC Radio National, (2) the largest and most influential evangelical Christian magazine in the world (Patheos and Christianity Today), (3) one of the most notable academic societies in the world (The American Academy of Religion), (4) possibly the largest evangelical seminary in the world (Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary), and (5) one of the largest missionary societies in North American (Missio Alliance). I have also shown that the project publishes in notable and peer-reviewed academic presses (IVP Academic has a global reputation in theological academic circles), and it's research has been reviewed in scholarly, peer-reviewed academic journals. I would argue that these add up to sufficient notability, recognised by multiple external, independent bodies.
Chicago3391945 (talk) 01:51, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
Please note the comment immediately above about evidence of notability of the Project and the research of its directors.
Three best sources listed here, as requested:
1. The Project's work on global Christianity profiled on Patheos (Christianity Today): https://www.patheos.com/blogs/jesuscreed/2016/01/14/is-our-church-global-or-colonialist/
2. The Project's work on Asian Christianities beyond Asia profiled in a radio interview on ABC Radio National (Australian national radio and broadcaster): https://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/soul-search/asian-christianities-beyond-asia/11417098

Draft:Karen Earle Lile
I am not connected to this article or content. I became aware of this draft in the process of contributing to the article: USPS Building Bridges Special Postal Cancellation Series, when doing a search on Karen Earle Lile, and then just in case Draft:Karen Earle Lile
I see that the writers to this article have made the changes you suggested to this draft since you last reviewed it, and looking through what is written, I propose that Karen Earle Lile should have her own page for the following reasons:
- I would have written an article on Karen Earle Lile, but it appears that a good start has already been made in this draft. So, it would be better for me to contribute to an already existing article.
- Her work is featured already in three different articles in Wikipedia, showing notability for her work. USPS Building Bridges Special Postal Cancellation Series and Sports Byline USA and Kendall Ross Bean: Chopin Polonaise in A Flat
- Because these three sets of works are very different from each other, in completely different fields, I would prefer to be able to link from the article that I am currently working on at USPS Building Bridges Special Postal Cancellation Series, to just her name Karen Earle Lile.
- She is a unique individual with notable standing as a Talk Host. With 82+ million listeners to her show from 168 countries. It seems clear that the search for her name would be a common one in Wikipedia, just from this audience alone.
- Lile’s work with the United States Postal Service is very unique, because she is independent, but has been allowed to create a series of postal cancellations for them, with a common symbol, over a period of 24 years. And the events that she co-produced and partnerships she was involved in were of significant cities, tall ships and places of interest, all of which have their own articles in wikipedia and are worthy of note.
- I believe that other Wikipedia writers, including myself, would welcome the opportunity to contribute to an article on Karen Earle Lile and would do research and add citations over time to improve the article.
- There are a number of reliable second sources referenced in the article, some of which are global and many of which are major newspapers or publishers in a major metropolitan area. I have actually found the references a useful source of information for the article I am working on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SoundNotater (talk • contribs) 20:02, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
User Talk:SoundNotater Dec 18, 2020 2:48PM EST
- SoundNotater, the COI tags are more because Lile herself has contributed / edited on those articles, and there have been fans who have interacted with Lile or Kendall Ross Bean before that want to portray her in a positive light. At this point, if the article is in draft, she can edit some, but as soon as it's in mainspace or goes live, then she can't edit there anymore and must make edit requests on the talk page only. She should really just use edit requests from here on anyways in all articles in good faith. A neutral editor who has no association with Lile, USPS, Building Bridges, Sports Byline, Lady Washington, Hawaiian Chieftain, PICYA, or her organizations can neutralize it for any bias, positive or negative. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:40, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
AngusWOOF Thanks for that explanation of how things work. I posted a message on Karen Lile's talk page to suggest she read our conversations here. User Talk:SoundNotater Dec 18, 2020 11:14 PM EST
- SoundNotater, Karen Lile, I've added the COI userbox to User:Karen Lile's page. She should only make edit requests on the talk pages from here on out for any pages that have any association with her. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:05, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
- SoundNotater, please clean up the references to news articles. I see several pointing to old newspaper articles but they are not online or go to their generic main page, so they can't be verified, so you need to remove the URL= portion from the reference. If the news article is still available online then please point to the archive reference url instead. Also, I changed some of the USPS references to "cite press release", and recommend the other references to USPS website or the organization be similarly changed. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:24, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
AngusWOOF I understand removing the links for old articles. But, I am not familiar with the "cite press release". What does the entire piece of code look like? I don't see it in the cite templates.
- SoundNotater, see
{{cite press release}}
. This is for any stuff posted by USPS or a news organization that appears to be a press release of the event. It's usually from a newswire site and has "about the author" or "about the company" information at the bottom. It's to show that it's a primary source and promotional. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 10:23, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
AngusWOOF Great! I will check it out. It will be good to know how to do this. Dec 24, 2020 2:00 AM EST
By the way, I decided to create a concise article for Karen Earle Lile, now that there are articles for USPS Building Bridges Special Postal Cancellation Series and for Sail Sport Talk. This makes it much easier to create a bio for Lile. And, I read between the lines that it might be best for someone not connected to Lile to create the article. Hopefully this will solve the problem. I left out a lot of the information in the Draft:Karen Earle Lile because it is covered in the various other articles. My assumption was that the Karen Earle Lile article gives a quick concise bio when Lile is referred to from other articles featuring her works, which should enhance Wikipedia. I hope this is a good solution. User Talk:SoundNotater Dec 24, 2020 2:14 AM EST
- SoundNotater, that sounds good. The concise rewrite from scratch avoids the POV and autobio problems. I'll still put in the connected contributor tags so she will still need to make edit requests on that one. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 07:47, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
AngusWOOF Thanks. I don't know how to put in connected contributor tags, so I will look at the code when you do so. Man, one can get addicted to this research and writing. I definitely need to go to sleep now! User Talk:SoundNotater Dec 25, 2020 3:11 AM EST
- SoundNotater, you may want to talk with Discospinster about the new articles as they are up for deletion for not meeting WP:GNG. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:19, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
AngusWOOF, I mentioned you on my talk page regarding an image that I uploaded that is scheduled for deletion. But, I met all 10 items for the exemption. See this page: Rationale: This image fits under the exemption category for the English Wikipedia on my Talk page if you would like to make a comment. I am trying to figure out the best way to share images, since I am the copyright holder.
Draft:Danny Ranes and Brent Koster
this draft is not a duplicate of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Danny_Ranes, I just also wanted to make an article about them like the other user did, plus this one is much better than the first one as it has everything important that the first one did not and this one includes the name of both serial killers.
So this time please accept it.--Kinkel Loukaitis Brazill (talk) 02:22, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

The article for Realyn Nelson is in progress. it was only submitted to save it as a draft. I am waiting for more biographical information. That information is basic that is on all celebrity pages. Independent information on Realyn is little and far between so the "interview" is more getting that information. All other information will come from available articles. Hi, you recently reviewed my draft article at Draft:The Catch II. Since you deemed it as "insufficient content to require an article of its own", I want to ask, what would you suggest I add to make it a better standalone article? Malcolm L. Mitchell (talk) 12:30, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Malcolm L. Mitchell, I suggest getting feedback from the playoffs talk page regarding whether that can be split off for its own article. - 96.255.57.10, do you cite any articles that go in-depth on Pencilmation itself? I see a pile of statistics on Social Blade and for PewDiePie, but not much else. And then the NewGrounds forums, which isn't a reliable source. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 02:42, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
The Tubefilter and Cartoon Brew references go in-depth with Pencilmation, as well as the one Youtube interview with the creator.
There were a couple other articles from both Tubefilter and Cartoon Brew going in-depth with Pencilmation, but I tried to emphasize getting new different sources.
The Newgrounds references are merely confirming the info about the site medals the original first two episodes were awarded, but I could remove them if that would be better.
The other news sources talk about Pencilmation's inclusion in the the 2019 YouTube Rewind video recap along with a brief synopsis of the show.

- 96.255.57.10, you'll also need more critical reviews by RS'es. Being included in a Rewind video is kind of minor unless other magazines are highlighting how the show highlighted the Rewind sequence. Interviews are primary sources so they should only be used sparingly for the development section. Tubefilter isn't that reliable, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_245#Are_The_Daily_Dot_and_Tubefilter_reliable_sources%3F and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_126#Blogs_count_towards_notability? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 03:03, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Dear Angus,
I appreciate what you've said. I've worked really hard on this draft, and short of gleaning through every search engine available to find any in-depth RS article I may have missed, I fear publication will have to wait until more in-depth articles from RS's are written in the near future. Could you give me numbers? Exactly how many different RS references and how many RS references total must be included before this is worthy of publication?
96.255.57.10 (talk) 03:13, 3 January 2021 (UTC)96.255.57.10|96.255.57.10
- 96.255.57.10, at least two different RS per WP:GNG. Three would be best WP:THREE. Please list them out on the talk page or in the comments portion of the AFC portion of the submission. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 06:39, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Draft:LivingWriter
Hey AngusWOOF,
I wrote up a draft for the website LivingWriter. I thought I did everything right. Can you tell me why you thought the resources weren't reliable? Everything I added on there besides the homepage for some details were third party reviews on the application. Thanks!
- Casey — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caseykerbs (talk • contribs) 14:58, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Draft:ThatWasEpic
Hi, AngusWoof, you declined my draft(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ThatWasEpic) yesterday and asked that I include more references. I have improved the draft by adding more reliable references and I ask that you come review it again, thanks! Mondayudowong (talk) 14:59, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- Mondayudowong, I would remove the videos coming from Daily Star since that's not a reliable source WP:RSP. I would also find more news articles that cover his career, and not just use articles that feature one of his videos or video series. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:15, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Grosse Pointe News
Hi,
I recently created a page for the Grosse Pointe News. I had an article on there as a placeholder and didn't mean to submit for publishing. It is part of the public domain because it's a free article posted on the Grosse Pointe News but it is not my own work. I can paraphrase instead, but it's all of the history of the paper. How do I get back to the page I submitted so I can make the changes?
Thanks, Annegryz (talk) 00:49, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- You can paraphrase some of that article but it is self-published, coming from GPN itself, so it is better if it is covered by another unrelated newspaper or journal. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:16, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple
You rejected Draft:Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temple and suggested it could be merged into the existing article at List of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is a list of all temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and not a separate page. Nearly all temples prior to Cagayan de Oro have their own page. Please let me know why this needs to be merged and not the other 200+ temples with their own Wikipedia pages. Dmm1169 (talk) 00:44, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Dmm1169, the temple is "announced" to be under construction and there are not enough sources to show it to be separately notable from the list. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 00:47, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ok. That make sense. Thank you!!!Dmm1169 (talk) 00:51, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Dmm1169, I think when it's done with the construction and ready for dedication/opening then it's probably ready to be an article. I need to compare it with other building construction projects in progress, so draft can stay where it is until then, and you can continue to make updates to it AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 02:15, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi Angus, Thanks fort reviewing my draft. I resubmitted on the basis that the crtieria for point 1 and 11 on the guidance for musicians entries is fulfilled. Are there further specific criteria which do not meet the guidelines? I'd appreciate your help. Many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Newreaders (talk • contribs) 17:54, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Newreaders, I suggest explaining that out on the draft comments section or the talk page of the draft. The more press from outside the immediate community the better, and also if it's not press release material from the producers / label. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:59, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Angus , I can't see a 'Comments section' within the draft so I have, for now, including in the edit summary, the changes I've made so far, as follows : Included Radio 2 play listing which meets the following criteria as per the guidelines for notability in music : 'Has been placed in rotation nationally by a major radio or music television network'
Regarding your comment about excessive name-dropping, do you suggest I omit the names of some producers ?
Many thanks,

- Yes, I would cut down what the other support folks are famous for and just have it linked to their Wikipedia article. Also if she's a favorite among certain radio networks, that can be noted, but going through a cycle of promotional radio appearances isn't particularly notable. Hi AngusWOOF, how can I improve the page? Would love your feedback. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeanJay5 (talk • contribs) 07:37, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- DeanJay5, it appears to be some local test created by a local business. There are no external news sources that show that such a test is widely used by other vocational schools, employers, or industries. It's also full of advertising verbiage straight from the website. - The infobox needs to be cleaned out. Holding office titles in the political party is not the same as being a member of parliament or an office in the government. Same with student body president and BJYM. Those should all be removed from the infobox. Do not cite Times of India per WP:RSP. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:50, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

- Usmanbhat, even if it's from your own website, you can't copy-paste such information over to Wikipedia and assume it can become an article. Also the verbiage of the 7 benefits are coming straight from that Prevention article. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:55, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Heaux Tales
AngusWOOF Regarding the Draft:Heaux_Tales rejection (at least the most recent one LOL), you asked me to add charting information for the first week, but I was able to find a Billboard top 10 peak for the lead single. Would that suffice to approve the article? :) Souldier77 (talk) 20:29, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- Souldier77, you need charting for the EP, not the single. That means the single can be its own article. WP:NSONG. If the EP is popuular enough to get reviews in Rolling Stone and others, it should have a charting soon if you can wait a few more days. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:34, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF I certainly can, but I'm a bit frustrated here. It seems as though each time I satisfy something one reviewer asks for, a different reviewer asks for something new. I really only wanted to establish a stub for the rest of the community to add to. I've provided references from reputable sources and pointed out how the album has already satisfied notability guidelines. Why does the goal line seem to keep moving for me? 🤷♂️ Souldier77 (talk) 20:57, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- Souldier77, it looks like someone created the album article in mainspace anyway. You should add your reception section and other information to that article at Heaux Tales (album). AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 00:10, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

Draft Digga D
Please could you re-review the page on "Digga D". Just wanted to say there are no tabloid references and I have included charts to show he is worthy of having an artist page on wiki. But a lots of it is re-worded and compiled from several different sources, it took hours and my own knowledge to get the relevant details. It not just copied and paste, plus some are quotes, if you look into it you would see this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TwoTrappy22 (talk • contribs) 01:13, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, you had sentences like "He was fitted with a GPS tracker on his leg and was made to check in with probation every three hours - at 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm and 11pm every day." that was directly copied from the BBC article without quoting. Also you can't use song lyrics to justify any statements. That would be original research. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:16, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Okay, ill fix those bits, your right but how I do I undo your deletion so I can edit my version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TwoTrappy22 (talk • contribs) 01:26, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, there's a copy over at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Digga_D&oldid=1000183861 but again, I would just do a little bit at a time and make sure whatever statements you make are supported by references. The verbiage on that version has too many statements that are copy-pasted or closely paraphrased from magazine and news articles so it's no good to restore that version back. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:30, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, please also note that associated acts are for long-term or recurring notable collaborations, not every single act he has worked with. Those who were already part of 1011 / CGM shouldn't be listed, and those who only have one or two collabs should not be listed. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 01:32, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
I literally fixed it all and it didn't save because there was a conflict due to probably what you put on my account because I unintentionally violated wiki by copying 2 lil sections which I thought it was fine if I cited them. Literally just lost another hour of editing, if only you just worked with me so I could have fixed it, instead of brashly deleted 3/4 of an article of an inexperienced wiki editor simply saying the whole thing was copy and paste when it clearly wasn't :/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by TwoTrappy22 (talk • contribs) 02:23, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
and I agree with ur point on associated acts but then it should just be 1011/CGM and Unknown T, not Russ he's irrelevant in the whole drill scene and only has one song with Digga.TwoTrappy22 (talk) 02:27, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, it looks like you found a spot where you can rewrite the article from. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:44, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
After taking on what you have said, I have rewritten part of the article and I have now also added all of his songs to his discovery. However the latter is now a issue as a user called dmirtis (see edits on Digga D) is accusing me of citing genius when I literally haven't. Please take a look so this can be resolved as he is being rather stubborn and at this rate I'm going to be banned when I literally trying my best to write a good comprehensive article on this artist. Thanks.TwoTrappy22 (talk) 17:11, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, it's "Drmies", and you literally did. Drmies (talk) 17:20, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- TwoTrappy22, please heed what the other editors are saying regarding the edits on the article. All statements need to be supported by references and should not be copy-pasted / closely paraphrased. The verbiage that sounds like someone's review needs to be attributed. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:20, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
I'm trying, so adding songs is verbiage??? and please in specific what is "copy and pasted" and I still can't see what is from genius sorry.TwoTrappy22 (talk) 17:29, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Click on the link "literally did". That is your diff, from your edit, and the "genius" in there is clear. In the references. Look for it. Drmies (talk) 21:31, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
My last thing in relation to this article, sorry if I've been a pain, is to restore the edit I did to the Discovery, and that only. I is comprehensive and complete and I see no reason why it can't stand.TwoTrappy22 (talk) 22:25, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Secondly what was wrong with this paragraph : He is considered one of UK drill's forefathers with his appearance on Next Up? in 2017[1] - which remains his most streamed song on Spotify to date at around 50 million streams[citation needed] - and his special on Mixtape Madness's Mad About Bars with Kenny Allstar, which are both widely esteemed and considered crucial in not only drill's growing popularisation in the UK and around the world but more pertinently UK's sub-genre UK drill differing from Chicago's, where drill music originates.[2]
Particularly the end part is precise and key. Like why re-write it ???TwoTrappy22 (talk) 22:59, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Thirdly, the first part of you edit below is literally false, do your research or maybe don't change want was accurately written before.
The 1011 group often had trouble with the law. In July 2017, Digga D and four other members were arrested in a stop and search. Digga and 1011 were convicted of conspiracy to commit violent disorder, sentenced to a year in jail, and was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in 2018 that required the group to have the Metropolitan Police's permission before releasing any new music, forbade them from using London postcodes, and banning references in lyrics to real-life incidents and people. The group's music videos were taken down. The group rebranded as CGM, which stands for Cherish God More.[3][4][5]TwoTrappy22 (talk) 23:02, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
You have literally ruined the article now, I hope your content now. You really make people want to spend time edit on wiki, nice. The article was good. Why are you changing and omitting certain parts to create an inaccurate and incomplete, vague article on a subject you are clearly not knowledgable on. Like I have followed this artist and genre for YEARS. While it is clear you have to cite be original etc., following wiki guidelines, you have completely changed the article now and are going completely beyond this. Do what you want, I don't care anymore, I genuinely hope you happy with yourself. smhTwoTrappy22 (talk) 23:09, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Like I can't stress enough how incomplete his Discovery is. It is literally missing over half his songs. Yet my edit way back now, which you can verify all you want, literally included all his officially released song. Yet it was just deleted like that. Over an hour of work to compile that. The only thing wrong was that I don't know how to format it correctly. and still, no one cares just deleted.TwoTrappy22 (talk) 23:17, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

- Bs cool 2009, you need to find external news sources that review the comic, not from its own publishing company. Also, if you're associated with the comic in any way (creator, publisher, promoter), you need to disclose conflict of interest per WP:COI and keep in mind that Wikipedia is not about publicizing or promoting your publications. Dear AngusWOOF,
Thanks for your comments on the draft entitled 'rockfall barriers'. I understand the comment concerning the article 'landslide mitigation'. Neverthless, I would like not to merge this draft with the existing article. The reasons for this is that :
– the article 'landslide mitigation' is really general.
– I plan to upgrade this article, adding content and references (and in such a case merging would be non sens)
– 'rockfall barriers' cover a wide variety of barries for rockfall mitigation, deserving a specific page
- there exists an article dealing with another type of rockfall countermeasure (rockfall protection embankments), that I created
– there is (indeed) a page concerning debris resisting barriers, created tow years ago and that I improved but this one should be deleted or integrated in another one
Would it be ok if I go on with the draft 'rockfall barrier' ?

Re: Check this out
Bit confused about the Hero (music producer) article I was writing being declined due to the sources but I suppose I'll just keep working away at it. Would really like to see what you think of this article that I found and started chipping away at. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Roam_(musician).
IronThumb3000 (talk) 14:20, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- IronThumb3000, if you can explain how the producer meets WP:MUSICBIO and back it up with news articles from RS websites, major newspapers, or news networks like CBC, then that will help. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:58, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
This provides an immense amount of clarity, thank you. Also left some additional notes on it regarding some of the criteria I think it satisfies but I will continue to look for more sources to back it up. IronThumb3000 (talk) 20:03, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Nate Adams (Yo-kai Watch)
Hello. Recently you rejected the draft Nate Adams (Yo-kai Watch) as it needed to "show notability in influence on other shows". This is the first I've heard of this requirement for fictional characters. Are there any other ways to prove the notability of characters? Cheers, IanTEB (talk) 09:55, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- IanTEB, is the character often compared with other similar characters in other shows. Look at Allen Walker or Eren Yeager for example and their extensive popularity and critical response sections. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 18:48, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hm, I might be able to add that. Thanks for the help! IanTEB (talk) 19:02, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, again. I've now added a paragraph to the reception section covering comparisons that have been drawn from the character. I was wondering if this addresses your concern or if there's still more to improve/fix. Cheers, IanTEB (talk) 11:27, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi Woof, thank you so much for your feedback. I closely monitored and patterned both Gabrielle Bernstein and Brene' Brown's Wiki pages so that I could try to include my neutral information as best as possible (ex: publishing my books, working for famous scientists, being interviewed by the media, etc.). The trademark I understand because I just now looked up "Coca-Cola", so thank you! I will work on editing it. I know ThriveGlobal is blacklisted (from my sandbox creation and notification last night). 16 hours spent last night and today down the drain...well, thank you for your feedback! :) Jaclyn

- PiscesJNJ, the external news articles that objectively discuss your life and career and that aren't Q&A's would be more useful to emphasize. Keep in mind WP:PROUD, that if there are critics of your work or stuff you'd rather not have publicized but is fairly public knowledge, that may have to be included. Draft:Lord Garmadon
Hello, thanks for your feedback on Draft:Lord Garmadon. I had almost forgotten about it, as it seems such a long time ago when I wrote it. I have a query about notability of the character. I have taken onboard the other issues with regards to length, detail and fictional perspective. I was going to abandon it, but then I thought maybe it is worth a second look. Anyway, the query is in relation to this page: Emmet Brickowski which is deemed notable yet has precisely two references, none of which provide any in-depth analysis of the character. I am not confident that there are any indepth sources about Lord Garmadon's character, although I do have a book that describes the character which I could reference. So my query is why there is a disparity between the two? If I shorten and rewrite the text from a non-fictional perspective, is there any possibility it may be accepted? It seems a shame to abandon a major character that has appeared in numerous episodes and a movie. I would very much appreciate any clarification. Thanks Fieryninja (talk) 09:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Fieryninja, a book that describes the development of the character would be helpful for the Development section. But yeah it needs a reception / impact section to show independent notability outside of the list of characters. Otherwise it can be developed in the list of characters. Compare Dr. Agasa or Gin (Case Closed). They are major characters in the Case Closed series but don't have enough to warrant their own articles. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:09, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
Aliza Ayaz
Hi, I have reverted your manic cleanup tagging of this accepted AfC for Aliza Ayaz, as you were the nominator of a previous deletion request (last result was draftify). See WP:Articles for deletion/Aliza Ayaz. It seems to me that you have a clear conflict-of-interest or other issues here. Perhaps an uninvolved editor or previously-involved administrator should exercise oversight? Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 15:55, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- Esowteric, I don't know the person or any of their associations (UCL, UN), so why would I have a conflict of interest? Please see the notes that I have with the tagging. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:54, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- Esowteric, also please note I am not AngusMEOW or Angus1986. That was a different editor. The current article has a tone of attributions to UCL that is associated with the subject. It also has peacock verbiage that paints the subject in a positive light. These need to be cleaned up.AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 17:57, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

- Fabian Egger, I'm not looking at all the sources. I just need the WP:THREE best ones. Also you need to remove ones where they don't mention you, and don't reference the YouTube videos unless they are news media that reference you by name. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 20:03, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- Fabian Egger, there are a bunch of references that are coming straight out of Q&A interviews, primary sources and profiles. These need to be taken out for now as they cloud up the notability. The article should be able to stand on secondary sources independent of the subject. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 21:57, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Regarding Draft:Atif Khan (Director)
Respected Sir/Mam, I am new contributor in wikipedia and don't know very much about reliable sources . I've read Reliable sources and observe other wiki pages of television directors and on the basis of which i used press release as well as official episode links with time stamp (as proof) for citing sources . You demanded me in depth details of khan's career but didn't told me possible sources , i thought reputed news articles are reliable enough to prove that he is director of so and so television serials but it also lacks in provide that according to Wikipedia . Wikipedia denied wiki page as source , user generated content , personal blogs , interviews (told by reviewer) , even IMDb is not a proof , official social media post of the subject is also not a proof then what left . Just tell me other possible reliable third party sources for the Indian television director's wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Atif_Khan_(Director) . Hello, Just created first article here which is waiting to be approved, so any tips or help massively appreciated as I'm not very tech minded. Cheers JT John T Ghillie (talk) 00:50, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- John T Ghillie, please disclose if you have any association with the firefighter. A lot of the information seems to be coming from press releases that praise him in a good light. You may need someone to clean up the references in the article. They should be to news sources that cover his career, not passing mentions where he speaks a line or two regarding an incident. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 06:49, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
John T Ghillie (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Angus: I've read his textbooks that he wrote and followed his training programmes. He has a reputation as an outspoken and controversial firefighter that has publicly voiced opinions that should have been listened to nationally far earlier, especially with respect to Grenfell. As firefighters, our lives are at risk by this blatant act of ignorance and the real visionaries, like Walker should be recognised. This is why I have chosen to create this page. All help is appreciated. JT. John T Ghillie (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Angus.... Textbooks in question are used widely as indicated by Amazon Reviews for all textbooks
Also on recommended reading lists from Institution of Fire Engineers a worldwide awarding professional body including in South Africa- see links below - I suggest this has International impact as IFE is a global professional and awarding body
https://www.scribd.com/document/430168900/Recommended-Reading-List-pdf
Also Walker's textbooks published procurement lists of each UK Fire Service as mandatory reading, this being one example..these are blocked by Wiki (public expenditure?)
Another example off international reach was the responses from global Firefighters to subject (who I follow on LinkedIn) with responses to books and potential new editions from global sources as far as Canada and Argentina including Her Majesty’s Inspector of Fire Services (UK) Dan Stephens Queens Fire Service Medal confirming breadth of use.
As stated, I have read textbooks and followed teachings of Ben Walker and Shan Raffel (Co teacher) for many years and does not seem equal or right that Raffel has a Wikipedia page when Walker, whom Raffel in interview with Fire Magazine (cited) on Raffel's Wikipedia page, personally names Walker as the "Driving force" behind improving fire dynamics and Firefighter knowledge internationally. Whilst both work in tandem frequently it seems like a page for Laurel that omits Hardy- forgive the comedy pun.
Article that declined as citation on warnings of declining Firefighter knowledge of buildings and tactics actually was reposted/linked by subject recently on a LinkedIn forum and is from a respected industry journal "Fire Risk Management Journal" April 2017- can be viewed in depth and context here.
Also - conference coverage that you have questioned was from another industry Journal "Fire Engineering" part of Clarion Publishing USA (formerly Penn Well Group) so not self-published, subject just being interview as international speaker.
Addditional articles such as subject's pre-warning of governmental and Commissioner's denial are from the UK broadsheet newspaper "The Guardian" and are both timely and topical when looked at in context/"timeline as Precedent to Grenfell.
Walker's textbooks are published by Pavilion Media a large UK producer of textbooks for medical and engineering industries, so can't really be considered "self-published", copies are available in British Library and almost every fire department worldwide as stufy materials for IFE exams (required for promotion to Officer levels) in most nations globally in Fire Service.
I appreciate your advice Angus, but struggling to see how we can contribute further without seeking out personal testimonials from Amazonian reviews etc. I found a review of Walker's textbooks in a French magazine which I can send a jpeg of if you like.
All advice appreciated as I would like this page to be up, particularly prior to the end of the Grenfell enquiries as Walker has been one of the very few fire service innovators and visionaries in the UK, who has a body of work and international repute proving that he should be an even more pivotal figure moving forward in the name of public safety and Firefighter skills development.
Can this article be re-reviewed on this basis please?
JT
- John T Ghillie, regarding the textbook aspect. I'm just trying to see if there are course pages where they list those textbooks on their syllabus as with other educational / professional institutions. Do not cite Amazon reviews. As for the incidents section, that needs to be clarified where Walker's role in the controversy was. It's not very clear from what was currently written as you cited articles that don't even have his name in it. Also you mention he's a regular subject matter expert on Sky and other major media. Do you have news articles that support that and that aren't coming from his press clippings at his website? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 15:14, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Angus - news commentary re Grenfell and Walker interview as a subject matter expert linked to Russia Today News and their own YouTube channel. As Sky and BBC no longer on iplayer those references removed. Textbooks are linked to recommended reading lists for Institution of Fire Engineers which iss only international awarding aand professional body in Fire Industry and only global organisation. News articles especially re Blaze Rescue, Walker mentioned and interviewed as commanding Officer. Grenfell- Walker's Guardian article-he is referred to at introduction and conclusion of that and as author/expert of journal article "critical path" both pre dated and contradicted statements later made by London Fire Commissioner. Additional links to an additional University thesis heavily citing the textbooks can be added, with regard to personnel trained/fire dept, this could just add literally a list of hundreds of departments and thheir conference attendees, which wouldn't add anything to Wikipedia except back up the notability.... Point taken re Amazon. What do you suggest and are we getting nearer on this?
Fire Rescue industry isn't massive so it's actually rare that a subject such as this will receive this amount of notability.
Trying hard with this- and appreciate your help.

GRIZZLY II: REVENGE PAGE DECLINE DECISION
Okay, what gives? The movie is real and does exist and has been released and the sources DO support pretty much everything on it so I don't get why you felt this page couldn't be passed. What issues did you have and what needs to be corrected? I am offended and disappointed so please enlighten me. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 06:12, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- DevonteHuntley, please read my comments on that draft article. You need to expand on the reception given to the film. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 06:43, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- What reception exactly? You need to be more specific because I don't understand. All I am reading is that the sources aren't reliable, but the sources support the movie. I mean, anyone can google it and see that it exists so having faulty sources isn't a reason to dismiss the whole page on an official movie that is right as far as release, actors, plot, etc. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 07:20, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- DevonteHuntley, check the Reception section. You just list a bunch of newspapers. You're not describing what the critics are saying about the film in detail such as with the original Grizzly (film)#Reception AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 08:33, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- That's why you declined the page? I mean, you still could have approved it and just told me to remove it, or you could have done that. I'll look it over and see what I can do. So if that gets fixed, then the page can be re-summitted for approval? - DevonteHuntley (talk) 21:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, so I went through the section and noticed it provided no reception. I should have checked this, but just so you know I did not make this and simply copied-and-pasted what was on the Grizzly page regarding the sequel that some one did not even bother making page for and just slapped it on the first movie's page, hence me making one. Anyway, I trimmed down most of the sources in the paragraph that I didn't think was needed and moved the remaining portion to the RELEASE section, so the Reception section has been removed and no longer there. Check it out, hopefully it's a lot better. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:00, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

- DevonteHuntley, can you add back the reception section but take 2-3 notable critics' reviews from major papers and detail that? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:12, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Were there any in the section that you know of? If so I'll have to go back to the archives to retrieve them now. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:14, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, I just added a couple in so far. How do you like them? - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

- Okay, I just re-submitted it so hopefully it gets approved this time! - DevonteHuntley (talk) 00:02, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Feel free to add more reception and also how it fared at the festivals. Did it win any notable awards? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 00:05, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'll find more reviews to add. I'm not sure of any rewards, I can't imagine it earning any given how incomplete and bad this is, but I'll look out for those too. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 22:24, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

- Thank you so much for the page approval! I'm glad I was able to fix what needed to be fix and now it's there officially and can be tweaked and touched up by other users as needed. My first page too. - DevonteHuntley (talk) 21:39, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Josh Gruss
Hi AngusWOOF, You recently declined the Josh Gruss page. I'm working on improvements as I think this person is viable and credible and should have their own wiki page. If you don't mind to explain when I update is there anything I should delete or keep so you can see the improvements and leave to be approved? Thank you! ADHP2021 (talk) 21:31, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
- ADHP2021, you need to find secondary news source articles that focus on Gruss separate from Round Hill, otherwise it should be a redirect to Round Hill. Do not cite press releases or routine news announcements. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so much! Also once I'm ready should I have you proof or just re-submit? Also do I take your citations off? Thank you! ADHP2021 (talk) 22:33, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
- ADHP2021, you can resubmit. Any AFC reviewer can look it over then. But don't remove the existing AFC reviewer comments. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 00:26, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Benjamin Walker (Firefighter)
Hi Angus- suggestions made as required- links such as Walker being interviewed on Russia Today NEws re Grenfell on their Youtube channel. As SKY/BBC stuff no longer on their iplayer- that has been removed.
Some sources removed where not directly mentioned- but industry journals and presenter interviews are not "primary" and are from respected and long established industry journals.
Regarding use of Walker's textbooks, would a long list of departments- whose personnel and trainers have attended his conferences add worth and also painful to verify/check for you - who was there, where when at literally dozens of conferences.... The Institution of Fire Engineers' (have their own Wikipedia page) are the only international organisation and awarding body in firefighting industry and link/citation to their reading list containing Walker's textbooks provided as citation- will this suffice as their membership and those undertaking examinations and using said reading lists are global.
With regard to controversy- whilst perhaps not reported as national news, it has been pointed out within the fire industry extensively that messages Walker's 2016 Guardian article "Firefighter Training Cuts" etc and his Fire Risk Management Journal Article in April 2017 about Firefighters not being adequately prepared in building and construction knowledge and use in firefighting operations both pre-dated Grenfell and stood in contrast with the then Commissioner's stance that there was no predictions or precedence. The Grenfell Inquiry did not mention this, despite industry pressure from Firefighters. Textbooks, established journal article and a broadsheet newspaper article that directly warned of factors that became applicable/exposed in Grenfell is noteworthy in itself.
I thank you once again for your guidance and hope we are getting nearer. For reasons above, it would be timely if this was approved prior to the Grenfell Inquiry resuming for the wider fire and public safety benefit.

Hi Angus,
Also got sent this academic degree paper link from University of Central Lancashire which was authored by the Head of live firefighting Training- Chris Tyler for South Yorkshire Fire Rescue Service (UK) which is used extensively as a basis for uk firefighting tactics and also cites Walker as the subject matter expert as well as references https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ag30i5aPI3G-OuiIZjsr6myf7jUhJgkP [1]
Hope this helps, JT John T Ghillie (talk) 16:03, 30 January 2021 (UTC)JTJohn T Ghillie (talk) 16:03, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- John T Ghillie, Google drive page seems to be private or requires google login, but the other page where you listed his textbook is good. Can you help clean up the controversy section? AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:30, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
HI Angus- thanks for this- what do you need for Controversy clean-up on this- more context such as "discussed within firefighting industry but not picked up by wider media"? I will re-ask Chris Tyler for a copy of that thesis if required- should I email it to you if I download- or any other way to make available to you?

- John T Ghillie, it should be from stuff that's publicly available, not emailed or instant messaged to you or me, so newspapers, magazines, websites would suffice. The controversy section needs some cleanup to show his role in the events, like if he wrote some critiques in the Guardian and then others responded with more published articles, that would work. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:56, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- John T Ghillie, I shortened the FDIC section. Comments from random attendees like David from the On Target Prep website doesn't really carry as much weight, but at least it confirms he was the keynote speaker. If some of the writers from the magazines gave a detailed critique on his presentation then that can be mentioned by name, magazine, and description, much like a review for a film. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 16:59, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Angus- after discussing the concepts of that article on a private fire group- in light of me mentioning that I had been talking of it- it's been reposted by a fire professional online- who is not the author Chris Tyler; obviously Walker is extensively mentioned within.
Hope this helps

Draft:Sowon (singer)
@AngusWOOF: Hi, would appreciate your reply in regards to
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
May I know, what you meant by "not adequately supported by reliable sources" because as far as I'm aware of as per WP:KO/RS, all sources included inside Draft:Sowon (singer) is considered reliable.
In case there's some misunderstand, I'm just confused about why it's considered "not adequately supported by reliable sources" because I often use majority of website included inside the draft.
Note: This discussion is about the quoted text (ignore the heading), I don't care about the Draft getting rejected. — Paper9oll (📣 • 📝) 04:26, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
