My full given name is Todd Eric Brown. I go by my middle name. It's nothing fancy but it works. I was born on June 8, 1989. I have many interests. One is hurricanes. I am very interested in them and enjoy finding as much information about them as possible. The National Hurricane Center website is my homepage. I have a historical hurricane database that would almost have NOAA impressed. Another great interest of mine is writing. I write short stories and recently finished my first novel. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. It's where I've lived for basically all my life and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. I attend school at Mill Springs Academy, Upper School (high school for you public school nitwits out there). I am pro-Bush. If you don't like it, find someone who cares.
I have ADD and so I sometimes have a hard time staying focused. I'm a loner. I've never been a social person. I've had about as many friends in my life as other people get in a single year (I can almost count them on my own two hands). I have a kind of rebellious attitude (which I've toned down considerably over the years). That attitude was bred in an environment of verbal abuse that plagues many people such as myself. I finally found a school where I don't have hate groups formed against me. Mill Springs is an LD school and there are some pretty weird folks there. I don't mind solitude. In fact I've come to prefer it. There is a lot that can be said for solitude.
I'm also a history and geography buff. I know a lot about history. My room's full of books on historical events. I've been to the National Geographic Bee at the state level three times (2001, 2003, and 2004). My best finish was in 2004, just shy of the finals (myself and another person got eliminated at the same time, placing 11/12 respectively).
Music
I like a lot of music. I find solace in it. It puts me at peace and it excites my imagination. It would be much easier for me to name the genres I do not like than name the ones I do like. So here it is, again genres that I do not like.
No big speech here. I like the concept of Wikipedia. I like the idea of a site where you can create your own webpage telling people about
a certain thing. I also like the fact that you can talk about the pages to other users in the discussion areas. That's the main thing that I like about this site.
As of November 11, 2006 I have made 4,458 edits, plus 243 either before joining(175) or logged out(68). [1] I made my first anonymous edit on November 6, 2004 and became a member January 10, 2005.
