What makes a station notable? Here are my standards that make a station meet WP:BCAST:
- It is licensed by the NTC.
- Its callsign is listed in a recent NTC listing.
These are optional, but it strengthens a station's notability:
- It originates some programming.
- A personality works in the said station.
What if a station is not licensed by the NTC?
- The latter two are needed for notability.
Whether or not WP:BCAST is a vetted notability guideline, it has been used in conjunction with WP:BCASTOUTCOMES (and even WP:GNG) for years.
Put its Callsign first, the <phrase>, its Brand Name and so on.
Use the ff. <phrase>s below:
- Broadcasting as
- On-air as
- Operating as
The lead on the article should look like this:
- For FM stations using unique branding:
- DXWT (92.3 FM), broadcasting as 92.3 Wild FM, is a radio station owned and operated by the UM Broadcasting Network.
- For AM & FM stations with secondary branding:
- DZRJ (810 AM) Radyo Bandido is a radio station owned by the Rajah Broadcasting Network, Inc.
Name - Start with its perspective callsign, and put the simple branding beside it
- Ex.: CALLSIGN (Name w/o Frequency)
Branding - Branding of radio station.
- Ex.: Frequency, Branding (Varies)
