Hi and welcome! I try to delete or archive comments after a while. I may make minor edits to posts for spelling, punctuation, upper/lowercase, line spacing, section title (for clarity), etc., but won't change the wording or meaning.

P.S. Sorry in advance if I have messed something up or violated a rule or guideline. I'm a bit WP:BOLD but try not to step on any toes! Facts707 (talk) 19:19, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dashes in date ranges

You recently added a bunch of date ranges in Apollo articles, but mistakenly used em dashes where en dashes are needed. Please fix, or reply here if you need help figuring this out. Dicklyon (talk) 04:54, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, I don't know much about Advanced Mobile Contributions mode, but if you don't have the info about how to enter the different dashes, I'll find someone who can help. Dicklyon (talk) 04:58, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the sharp eye – didn't realize I was adding the wrong dash on my mobile device. Sorry about that! All fixed. Cheers, Facts707 (talk) 17:35, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

19th Wing edits

I rolled back your edits to 19th Airlift Wing. Your redirect in the header template to the period the 19th Air Division was a reserve wing is inapt since that was not the only time it had the designation (from 1940-1941 too). Although technically, it was inactivated a bit before the US entered WW II, the war was definitely on during the period, so the WW II name isn't incorrect. Redirect to the reserve section of the article is not proper, but if you have a better name to insert in the template, I'm certainly willing to consider. --Lineagegeek (talk) 22:40, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, will have to have a look to see when it was a "reserve" vs. "active" and update the article. Cheers, Facts707 (talk) 10:28, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Country websites

Please note that countries do not have websites, only governments do. As per the documentation on Template:Infobox country do not use a government website for a geopolitical entity. Canterbury Tail talk 12:35, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alberta Film Classification requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-film-classification.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Don't really understand why this well-referenced and prolific producer of many well-known documentary series was deleted. Facts707 (talk) 03:01, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unilateral moves of high profile articles

Please discuss page moves before performing them unilaterally, as was the case with the front-page highlighted Surfside condo collapse article. Thanks. Fuzheado | Talk 15:37, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regretted moving the page shortly after. Will definitely reconsider next time. Cheers, Facts707 (talk) 02:57, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Letter case, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Electronic.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 05:55, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Resolved by removing link at "electronic". Facts707 (talk) 02:54, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alberta Film Classification moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Alberta Film Classification, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Mccapra (talk) 19:00, 28 August 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Thanks. I was hoping another editor would carry on with it, but I will try to get back to this one in the near future. It was created primarily for completeness since other provinces have their own as well. Cheers, Facts707 (talk) 08:41, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Participation in a signpost interview

Hi Facts707, hope that you're well. I was wondering if you'd be able to participate in a Signpost interview in your capacity as a contributor to Redirect? I am enthusiastic about these interviews because they help remind other Wikipedians about the passionate and diverse group of volunteers that edit Wikipedia, and into the many discussions and editors that inhabit our space, nooks and crannies. If you had time to even answer a few questions here (User:Tom (LT)/sandbox/WikiProject redirects interview draft) I'd be very grateful :). Tom (LT) (talk) 04:46, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
