[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Talk:Seven Society (Order of the Crown and Dagger), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Seven Society. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Ronhjones (Talk) 00:41, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Jeepday (talk) 01:03, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
{{unblock|I was simply trying to create a "Seven Society" disambiguation page since there are at least three known groups that are commonly known by that name. Unfortunately, as a relatively new editor, I went about the task incorrectly and was ultimately blocked. I graciously ask that an Admin, or more experienced editor, please create a "Seven Society" disambiguation page. I would also greatly appreciate being unblocked, though I completely understand why such actions were taken.Sotochace (talk) 01:37, 9 November 2009 (UTC)}}
- I have placed this request on hold pending comments from the blocking admin. However, while we are waiting, I just wanted to remind you that, if you are having trouble, there are places where you can get some help with editing. You may want to check out Wikipedia:New contributors' help page or Wikipedia:Help desk to ask someone to help you along with these problems you are having editing the page correctly. --Jayron32 04:25, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- No objects to unblock. There were a number of changes and Sotochace was not comunicating on talk about them. My goal was to provide time for a more expericanced editor to clean up. I strongly suggest using the talk page and the help of expericanced editors when making WP:BOLD edits when you are not familiar with all the implications. - Welcome aboard Sotochace, we all learn by doing, seems like you learned a lot recently :) If I can be of any assitance in the future drop me a line. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 11:53, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

I've put you up a welcome template - you might find it useful for some links.
For moving pages you might like to read WP:REQMOVE for established pages and WP:MOVE for simple ones. As regards "Seven Society"...
- The dab page is done for you - maybe wrong name (for now)
- For the Seven Society page, I would suggest follow Wikipedia:Proposed_moves#Requesting_a_single_page_move as that page has been there some time, and other editors may have a view (copy the bit in the white box to the Talk:Seven_Society page, and edit as appropriate.
- Assuming Seven Society gets moved, then when that is complete you can rename Seven Society (disambiguation) to Seven Society - you may need to get the residual Seven Society (it will now be a redirect after moving) deleted by applying a WP:CSD G6 tag on it.
Hope that makes some sense. Pop a message on my talk page if you get stuck. Ronhjones (Talk) 19:51, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- P.S. Don't forget to fill in the edit summaries - it helps to tell others what is happening. Ronhjones (Talk) 19:53, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on User:Sotochace/Seven Society (University of Virginia) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
G12: An unattributed copy of Secret Societies that was never used. Should be deleted per WP:UP#COPIES.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 18:46, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
