Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is an upcoming film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films.[1] The film stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde with Jassi Gill and Siddharth Nigam in supporting leads. Film is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram.[2][3]

Principal photography began in May 2022 in Mumbai. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 30 December 2022.[4]

Casting

In February 2020, Pooja Hegde was reported to be the lead actress, marking her second collaboration with Farhad Samji, after Housefull 4.[5] In December 2021, Venkatesh was reported to play an important role in the film, marking his comeback to Hindi cinema, after Taqdeerwala (1995).[6] Asim Riaz, Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam are reported to play Khan's brothers in the film.[7][8][9] Raghav Juyal too joined the cast and will be playing a pivotal role.[10] Punjabi cinema actress Shehnaaz Gill was signed, marking her Hindi film debut with Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.[11]

Filming

Principal photography began on 12 May 2022 in Mumbai.[12]

Music

The film's music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, in his second collaboration with Salman Khan, after Radhe.[13]

Release

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is scheduled for theatrical release on 30 December 2022.[14]
