I just deleted a sentence referring to the New Year's Day church fire near Eldoret. As far as I know, Ruto has not been linked to this, even by allegation, and the sentence did not explain the connection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark Borgschulte (talkcontribs) 02:21, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just added clarification about the ODM "strategy" paper that circulated online in the days when the election ended and the violence started. It is not a fact that it was a real paper and not a manufactured one, so it can't be reported as though it was a real paper to therefore incriminate Ruto and others on the serious charges included such as ethnic cleansing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.230.82.87 (talk) 19:56, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, it is a FACT that William Ruto's skills include ethnic cleansing and corruption. Actually he doesn't know anything else than ethnic cleansing and corruption. He is ethnic cleansing and corruption. I think that Wikipedia makes a major mistake by deleting my addition to the William Ruto article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.156.224.64 (talk) 08:22, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Under the section titled "Controversy," remove the sentence: "Most of the accusations leveled against him have originated from his generosity." This claim is unsubstantiated. Bigjobab (talk) 21:27, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

minus Removed, along with the rest of the paragraph, which was sourced to a blatantly biased opinion piece. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 21:39, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Condition

This page is a bit of a mess, first Ruto is called a "badman" in the first sentence, then the first section says he was "best in class" and offered a Harvard position. I'm not sure what tags to add or how to add them but I think substantial steps are needed to fix this page. Watercheetah99 (talk) 20:26, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Partisan edits

I am a retired, lifelong American journalist; in the Controversies section especially, the facts presented, particularly in the language presented, don't add up. This feels like a hodgepodge of opposing partisan talking points, raising unproven accusations and accolades. The facts are suspect; some read as efforts by the former president of Kenya to dispute the legitimacy and reputation of the new president. This needs very active fact checking, but others will have to do that work. 2604:2D80:A782:BC00:4810:E50D:FAD6:B7AD (talk) 03:53, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
