Techraptor article on internal Amico documents.

An article was recently posted by Techraptor, detailing documents which apparently a disgruntled former employee decided to leak to the public. There are some financial documents, a pitch deck, and a fact book. One of the documents includes a Wedbush Securities watermark, which circles back around to a glowing review Michael Pachter gave towards the investment potential of the Amico.

While the veracity of these documents cannot yet be proven, there is potential weight due to the circumstances surrounding. 2601:540:8200:135:2B28:91AD:BE72:32B8 (talk) 00:42, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Techraptor is pretty iffy itself (inconclusive reliability per WP:VG/S) so it may be better to wait until some better sources cover it. Sergecross73 msg me 01:06, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Another two articles calling the Amico what it is, a very bad idea, which poorly reflects on the already poor character of Tallarico. This and the abandonment of the omnibus patent are the two most recent noteworthy events regarding the Amico. 2601:540:8200:135:2B28:91AD:BE72:32B8 (talk) 03:56, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

When will it be called?

When will it be called and what criteria will be used to determine this project is never going to be released? How can this still be considered upcoming. 2003:E6:EF00:CD69:40FA:83D:14E2:E50A (talk) 20:58, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We wait for a reliable source to verify the content you wish to add, the same way we handle everything on Wikipedia. This is not a rare or extraordinary situation. Amico generates a fair amount of coverage in the industry. There will be more coverage coming. In the meantime, we need to follow WP:STICKTOSOURCE. @Sergecross73 countless reliable sources have confirmed they have no way to ship it. Can any reliable source confirm it is indeed upcoming and will be released at this stage? 2003:E6:EF00:CD69:40FA:83D:14E2:E50A (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There has been no reliable source that states it has been officially cancelled. Feel free to provide reliable sources that provide context on the matter, but as it hasn't actually been announced as cancelled, commentary like that should be added to the article body with context and nuance rather than just changing the tense of the wording without explanation. Request for Third Party Opinion

Any change or edit to the adjective or tense regarding the Amico is met with quick reversions and has led to an edit war with Segrecross. I request a third party opinion regarding this, and what the adjective should be.

Trolling the Amico aside, this article no longer feels community based and solely owned by an administrator. I dispute the facts of the beginning of this article - in particular saying it is upcoming. 2A01:598:A12F:B32C:5FD:43B:7DC8:DCF4 (talk) 05:27, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sources have confirmed as recently as July that Intellivision is still working on the console and plans to release it. ([3] [4]) You and I may have our doubts, but Wikipedia follows what reliable sources report. This is not at all an extraordinary situation. See Metroid Prime 4, see Beyond Good and Evil 2. "...is an upcoming" is the typical wording for cases like this. "...is an announced" sounds like an idea was shared publicly and the story ended there. Changing "is" to "was" is definitely wrong because no reliable source has reported it was canceled. TarkusABtalk/contrib 06:38, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Careful, there, Sergecross, people are gonna start thinking you've got a Conflict of Interest with all the softening of criticisms your doing, LOL, even if you're following guidelines like I was. Daltonsatom (talk)
