Change the NYU acceptance rate from 20% to 12% please. It is more acurate. Thanks. Broitsfine12 (talk) 22:03, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Broitsfine12: It already says 12.8% in the "Admissions and scholarships" section. Where do you see 20%? RudolfRed (talk) 22:10, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 22:16, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In the "Notable Alumni" section, the listed colleges of NYU and degrees obtained for Martin Scorsese are inaccurate. Scorsese did not attend CAS or Tisch—please refer to this NYU article: “He earned his undergraduate degree from NYU’s Washington Square College in 1964, a Master of Arts degree from the School of Education (now the Steinhardt School of Education, Culture, and Human Development) in 1968."

@Aunger67:  Partly done: Edited Tisch to Steinhardt as it was indeed incorrect according to the source provided. I have not edited CAS to Washington Square College since the latter is a redirect to the former making me think that it's really the same college but with an older or alternative name, hence it doesn't really need to be edited. Thanks for your edit request and efforts to improve Wikipedia. ★Ama TALK CONTRIBS 13:49, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"In 1832, the initial non-denominational all-male institution began its first classes near City Hall based on..." in the lead should probably link to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nondenominational_Christianity to make more sense. instead of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-denominational 5abc484 (talk) 23:45, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good suggestion - done. ElKevbo (talk) 00:12, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Albert Gallatin

The source material from the NYU website states “former” Secretary of the Treasury, which is true. By 1831 Gallatin was not only a former cabinet member, he was also a former 2-time Ambassador (France, UK), the use of the word “then” in the sentence regarding Gallatin leading the charge for NYU’s founding should be edited accordingly. 2600:1014:B049:5E6A:883D:8A68:B25E:B838 (talk) 12:10, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
