Quaint, but meaningless

[edit]

Whist is might be quaint to have a piture entitled '"Dragons teeth" antitank obstacles by the River Wey' in the article, without any context in the article itself it is about as meaningful as having a picture claiming to be a foootpath created by alien invaders on their way through England.

Really, such context-free quaintness has no place in an actual encyclopaedia. 86.142.227.36 (talk) 20:47, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You mean apart from the bit that says:

During the Second World War a section of the GHQ Stop Line, a system of pillboxes, gun emplacements, anti-tank obstacles and other fortifications, was constructed along the North Downs.

Right next to the "quaint" image? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 09:03, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
