The result of the move request was: Moved to 39–41 Lower Fort Street. As noted, there is no need to disambiguate at all here so taking the consensus at the end to do away with it. Note, that per MOS:ENFROM I am switching the dash from a - to a –, which wasn't discussed, but seems uncontroversial — Amakuru (talk) 13:29, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

39-41 Lower Fort Street, Millers Point → 39-41 Lower Fort Street, Dawes Point – The correct address is Dawes Point not Millers Point . It should be moved to reflect this and show Dawes Point . The Heritage listing is for Millers Point so it might be confusing for the Wikipedia article to be different. This page (https://profile.id.com.au/sydney/about?WebID=300) includes The Rocks-Millers Point-Dawes Point within one boundary, for statistical purposes. I have lived in Sydney for over 50 years and always associate Dawes Point with the area around the southern pylon of the harbour bridge. There are not many houses within "Dawes Point." While many may group Millers Point and Dawes Point together for ease, they are, of course, separate areas. If you do an address lookup via AusPost for the property it comes up as Dawes Point. If you search for it on Google, it states it as being within Dawes Point. It's a fair point that changing it would make it different from the heritage listing, but I don't feel consistency is a reason to propagate incorrect information, even if it is only very slightly incorrect. --Tootencarlmoon (talk) 12:54, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Why not just rename it to 39-41 Lower Fort Street and avoid the issue altogether? This is actually preferred per WP:OVERPRECISION and WP:CONCISE. There's unlikely to be another article that would need to use that address as a title. Station1 (talk) 18:02, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dawes Point is the correct name for this location[edit]

This property, 39-41 Lower Fort Street, is also listed on the Dawes Point Wikipedia page and to avoid the problem of including the words Millers Point in its address on the Dawes Point page, the link is made via a notation. At the top of the Dawes Point page the issue of the naming of Dawes Point was discussed as follows: "At times Dawes Point has been considered to be part of The Rocks, or known as West Rocks, part of Millers Point, or part of it known as Walsh Bay."

The government department that provides the information on state heritage listed properties, the Heritage Division has some out of date information and some errors about Millers Point and Dawes Point heritage properties, and these offices have not responded to some requests to update their information.

Some residents of Dawes Point consider themselves to be members of the Millers Point community. There is a similar issue with the naming of Millers Point, and briefly the name of the point itself was changed to Barangaroo Point, but following representations by residents, Millers Point was re-confirmed by the Geographical Names Board as a location in Barangaroo Reserve in the suburb of Barangaroo.
