Title

[edit]

The game is titled "Ryuu ga gotoku Kenzan!", there is no "3" in the title. The 3 is used incorrectly both on this and on the Yakuza (Video Game) page and should be removed.--Taku25 17:12, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Until there is an official western release, the title of the game should remain as "Ryuu ga gotoku Kenzan!", rather than "Yakuza: Kenzan!". -- 87.194.217.138 (talk) 23:03, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title revisited

[edit]

I don't take a huge issue with the changes, but why exactly has it been decided that this and all of the spinoffs be under the Yakuza title? They were never localized nor were they announced for localization so what since is there to call these games "Yakuza"? Osh33m (talk) 22:29, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is under Yakuza Kenzan because of WP:COMMONNAME, which states Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it generally prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources., and WP:NAMINGCRITERIA, where point #1, #2 and #4 apply here.--Alexandra IDVtalk 22:39, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
