Is it me, or is this article written in quite a high amount of detail? Much more than I think would have been released to the public - am I the only one who thinks someone at GCap/GWR wrote this? Anon Dude 13:32, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed: I've added a tag to that effect ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 21:30, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Chillradiostation.jpg

[edit]

Image:Chillradiostation.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Does anyone else think that the opening paragraph with its Skys and cables is a bit confusing? 137.222.34.211 (talk) 14:22, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Business model (if any)

[edit]

I used to listen to Chill Radio quite a lot, on DAB (in London) until my DAB radio broke down. More recently I have listened to it occasionally online. What always puzzled me is that there seem to be no adverts whatever (apart from plugs for other parts of the service), and this appears to be confirmed by a statement somewhere else that 'adverts are practically non-existent'. So who pays the bills? It is an officially licensed radio service, so it could hardly escape the usual royalty payments to copyright-holders. The only clue I can see is that it is owned by a larger group (Global) which may find it useful to keep it running as a means of keeping a channel open. But it still seems a bit odd, and I hope someone can explain the economics.86.171.218.229 (talk) 19:39, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
