Spelling

[edit]

His name is Sean, not Seán; see Dáil 29 November 2018:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, the Resolution of Seanad Éireann of 14th November 2018, in relation to the Tribunal of Inquiry into protected disclosures made under the Protected Disclosures Act 2014 and certain other matters, be amended by the substitution of "Honourable Mr. Justice Sean Ryan" for "Honourable Mr. Justice Seán Ryan" in both places where it occurs.

Nonetheless, I checked three sources used in the article, and all of them used Seán. – wbm1058 (talk) 22:06, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed; as with Isiah Thomas or Dwyane Wade, the correct spelling looks like a mistake and is liable to miscorrection. Hence this note. jnestorius(talk) 11:57, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
