Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, everyone, I'm Sophus Bie. Getting messages on my talk page makes me smile, so feel free to drop me a line; I swear I don't bite!

I spend my time here on Wikipedia in a multitude of ways: I often fight off the vandal hordes, and I can also be found copyediting and overhauling articles in need. I sometimes hunt down and correct typos in large swaths, or do a bit of stub sorting. I'm also rather good at scrounging up sources for articles. I'm part of the Welcoming committee, as I believe that retaining new editors is an important part of building an encyclopedia. Occasionally, I create spoken versions of articles that already exist, as well. I don't have any particular topical focus in the article namespace; you can find me working on everything from mathematical security sampling methods, to awards given by the heirs of a ketchup empire.

If you want to find out what I'm up to, you can check my to-do list, but I give no guarantees that it will be human readable.
