Talking Heads interview

[edit]

There is a good interview with Glenn at this site just waiting for a more capable writer than me to flesh out the story of his life and his work: http://www.abc.net.au/talkingheads/txt/s1723034.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.190.182.209 (talk) 11:38, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indented line

Middle name

[edit]

What does the "A" stand for? -- JackofOz (talk) 10:03, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Talking Heads interview cited above, it is an affectation like the M in Harry M Miller and thus stands for A.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:57, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, an affectation. Thanks. But not like Harry M. Miller. His middle name is Maurice, so what else would he use as a middle initial? X, perhaps? -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 11:38, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe A. stands for "A Mormon" as in he is one. Therefore by adding the middle "A" he is following the Law of Mormon Names (http://christopherestep.wordpress.com/2006/12/10/middle-initials-and-mormons/)
I don't believe that, but thanks anyway. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 11:38, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I heard decades ago that he refuses to tell people what the A stands for.--Jack Upland (talk) 09:28, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
