Today I tried my hand at fleshing out a stub. I put in the base article, then added footnotes and some categories. What remains for me now is to complete the links to other wiki-articles. Hopefully, I'll do this right.
As to content, let me say emphatically that the data available through the world wide web is not to be trusted very much! I sought primary documents (Thank you, Champlain Society!) and authoritative authors with corroboration. LTC David J. Cormier (talk) 21:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The paragraph in Early Years about natives declining might be a bit POV. Other authors can reinforce the judgement. I wonder, though, if it's an observation that is outside of the scope of Denys' experiences, and therefore might belong in the article about whichever native group - the Mi'kmaq? - it references.
